I live in Ashland and the man is in love with cats! They were never real cats he has 23 cats on his farm! He also is a very sweet man and has a 1967 Camero in mint condition from when he was in highschool so I dont think he is too worried about what he does to this car!!!

I remember this guy back from when I lived near Mansfield. Everyone around there knows this guy. He even had surgery to make his nose look more cat-like. Anytime you walked by the car, that damn thing meowed, and his van was even more decked out with cats than his car.
I’m definitely glad I don’t live anywhere near Ohio now.

I go to school in Ashland (where Cat Man lives) and he’s awesome! His horn is a cat meow and everything. The story goes that one night he was asleep and his house caught on fire and his cat woke him up and saved his life. So now he has over 20 cats and he really is a super nice guy.

The Cat Man didn’t have plastic surgery, he lost his nose to cancer, and yes, he died a while back. The car did meow, and he had a cat hat to wear when he was out of the car. The local paper did a story on him before he died and it made the front page when he did die.

I have not seen him in years and I believe he lived in the trailer park off of Claremont Ave. He had cancer and he knew he was going to die so why not spread a few smiles until you go. His nose was gone and I imagine he didn’t have the money to get a fake one. Either way RIP
Did you see the new freak around Ashland? I will have to get a picture. He stands outside WalMart and he wears combat boots, a hat, accustic guitar, flanel shirt, long white beard, etc. I think he’s homeless, but he’s funny. He jams out on his guitar and everytime I walk past him he goes “JESUS LOVES YOU MAN!!!” and then he will bust out into some gospel songs. LOL, go there around Christmas and you will see him. I see him at least once a week downtown.

One time, I was with a friend stopping at the ‘mart and he was running in really quick so I stay in the car. Cat man pulls up next to me. My friend rolls the window down then locks them in place, leaving with the keys. He waves and smiles, then honks his horn…. yes-it’s a cat meowing.

Yeah, Brad was a nice guy. His van always cracked me up when I saw it, and when he got that car and I saw he decked it out the same, even more funny. RIP Brad (He died of heart failure a couple of months ago).

I live in that area too! Used to see him everywhere. A friend of ours works at the Vet he used to take his cats to. I am not kidding at all when I say this but he was forever bringing his cats in with rectal prolapse. I’m not saying but I am saying hmmmmm?
