East Virginia State Cowpokes

I’m just not really sure what type of cowboy you are. I can’t picture you on a horse. I kind of picture you on an ox maybe, but definitely not a horse. Are you possibly a mascot for some sh*tty Division III football team or something? Maybe you think you need a crazy outfit to support that mustache? I don’t know, I’m just fishing at this point.

He’s probably looking for a Clint Eastwood movie to beat off to.

He’s wearing vintage clothing. Nothing wrong with that. Even cowboys need to make a run to the general store now and again.

I actually submitted this photo, and I regret not having something in this photograph for size comparison. This man was at least 6’9” and had one of those huge black mustaches. You could hear him walking from the other side of the store because of his spurs.

He’s probably a Cowboy Action Shooter… lots of fun actually. I used to be embarrassed going out in public in costume but its so much fun to make up stories about why we’re dressed so freakin funny!

Hello People,
My name is Frederick Georges and I am the Wrangler in the photo. I grew up on a ranch in northwest Wyoming and I have been dressed this way since I was six years old.
Thank you Blade for your understanding:-) We ranch workers do indeed come to “town” from time to time although not as often as you “townies” do.
Rah, for your information all of my sisters dress this way too, it is not just for “boys”
Some of my friends found this site and told me about it so I figured I drop a line to set folks straight.
Breanna I helped breed, raise and train cutter’s and penner’s but I always used a mule for a mount as they are sure footed and steady, never rode an ox

Here is a link to a video short of some modern day Wranglers in northwest Wyoming driving livestock in the year 2010. See… we are still alive and well and doing a needed job so “townies” can have their fill of fresh meat.

Follow this link to see a video short of Wranglers doing their job in north west Wyoming in the year 2010. See… we do exist so that all the “townies” can have a steady supply of fresh meat.

I apologize for the double postings, this site is very “quirky” and my postings disappear so I repost them and they return again. Well considering my age and background it should be expected that I will make mistakes.
F.Y.I. I am 63 years old and a “country boy” so this technology is nothing short of a miracle to me… I remember “crank” telephones, brand new 1957 Chevy’s and 23 cent per gallon gasoline

Those are spray-painted motorcycle boots. The spurs are just his idea of stylish… I’ve been to east Virginia, there are more Sailors and politicians than cowboys there.

I am from Virginia, and I can tell you now he is probably just a Civil War reinactor. Theres a lot of that, you know considering that Virginia is the place where the history comes from. And trust me, we have way more to offer than just politicians and sailors

It really shocks me how ignorant people can be to post this as on a site full of out casts, white trash and just plane crazy people, I live in Canada and cowboys dress like this gentlemen up here too. further more a Civil war reenactor wouldn’t be dressed like a cowboy he would be dressed in a uniform and carry a sword, bayonets, a carbine rifle or a musket not Training spurs and a cowboy hat. Its pretty bad when a canadian knows more about your history than you do, guess you should of stayed in school and at least finished the fourth grade. Those are not spray painted motorcycle boots. Motorcycle boots only go half way up your calf there called buckaroo boots and real cowboys wear them because they are higher up to keep the mud and water out plus they have a lip on the heel to keep the spur from riding down the heel, PS the reason why he would have his pants tucked in is so when he gets home and takes his boots off his pants aren’t soaked up to his knees.
