Oy vey, calm down. This woman is actually the curator at the Salvador Dali museum over in St. Pete. The hat while yes it is a shoe, is modeled after something similar that Dali did for his wife during their years together.
…I don’t randomly spout information like this, just happen to know it because I was a the museum not even a month ago, she’s actually a pretty fun woman when she’s working As an artist myself I’m happy to see that she wears the hat in public! (and yes she wears it in the museum!!)

Wow…I almost fell off my chair. What’s sort of funny about this is that I have actually seen this woman before in Atlanta at a HIGH Museum Dali event…and I am familiar with the hat and it’s original reference… she’s wearing a hat that references a Elsa Schiaparelli hat from 1937-38:
