No comment from me on the shopper. But I do have to point out that when you find a really good deal on ramen, it is wise to stock up.
That stuff is great emergency rations for power outages, or if you have lean times. It keeps for a long long time, and the noodles are even edible uncooked.
So really, nothing unusual about some bloke buying a couple cases of ramen, especially if it was at a great bargain price.
