OMG! There is a store, called “My Lil’ Store” just over the nc/sc line off I-85 that has a sign that says “Proper Clothes required. Pajamas are not proper clothes. If you cannot afford real clothes xxx church has a clothes closet. Go get some before you come in here”

Ok, given those are really tacky, I can honestly admit that I’ve been to Wally World in PJs plenty of times.
When you are in college hanging out at 2-4 AM and someone gets hungry or maybe just for the hell of it you want to go out to Wal-mart, nobody is going to go and put real clothes on. You grab your keys, wallets/purses, and head out with exactly what you’re wearing.
Now if someone is wearing those at like 3 in the afternoon, that’s a completely different story…

When I was in high school in the late 90′s a lot of girls wore pajama pants, but not the whole set. They look like nice warm flannel, but she could have at least put on some real pants and just worn the shirt.

Oh, this is mild compared to the wildlife I’ve seen at Wal-Mart. And when you’re in the middle of finals at the end of your senior year and you’ve been up for 36 hours because you have to check on that one final fermentation for your senior project, sometimes you run to the grocery (or the discount super-mart) in your pjs, even if it happens to be the middle of the day—time sorta runs together in that situation. Not that this woman looks like a scholar. I’m just sayin’ it happens for a reason sometimes.
