Actually this is the Walmart on Nolensville Rd in Nashville. The parking lot is broken up into a bunch of weird segments due to it being constructed around an existing wetland area. The parking spots are very far from the front door, so they decided to get a valet so people would actually shop at the store.

I just assumed it was one guy trying to trick people into giving him their cars. So he could steal them.
This is the Nolensville Road Wal-Mart in Nashville, TN. The reason for the valet parking? The store was built on land with a creek running through the property. The city wouldn’t allow the store to build there unless they agreed to mangle the parking lot in such a way that accommodated the creek. Thus, because of the number of elderly, disabled, etc. that frequent Wal-Mart, they created free valet parking.
FYI: Wal-Mart employees are not allowed to accept tips, so the only wages the employees are getting from this service are their regular salaries.

I’ve been to a Wal-Mart on Nolensville Road in Nashville that has valet parking. It’s not in a particularly wealthy area of town, but the parking is truly horrendous in this Wal-Mart. I have a feeling they did this out of necessity due to the terrible parking lot. I avoid this Wal-Mart because of it. And somehow I just don’t feel comfortable giving Wal-Mart employees my car keys.

Read people. It IS in Nashville, TN. And, it’s due to a creek in the area. It certainly has nothing to do with rich people as that’s one of the worst areas of town other than the true inner-city/project areas.
Contrary to popular belief, the “stars” in Nashville are just regular people when they are in Nashville. It’s their haven away from the stares and fans (other than Fan Fare week and yes, I know it’s no longer called Fan Fare, but it is to those of us who live here and have to endure it). They can come home and relax when they are here. It is generally an unwritten rule that you leave them alone or treat them like you would anybody else. They do their own shopping and they shop at big box stores, but mostly at Target. I’ve personally seen three “stars” in Target, two of which approached me to compliment my daughter and say how pretty she was. I simply said “thank you” and left it at that. I didn’t whip out the camera phone and ask for a photo or an autograph. It’s a different world than NY or LA and one they appreciate being able to come home to. They are truly just regular people when they are here and not out on tour. How many paparazzi pics do you see that were taken in Nashville? Very few.

Okay… This is the Nashville Walmart, it’s not the best part of town, but is also not the worst; it is not Brentwood, it’s “Brantioch.” Another little know fact, it’s the largest Walmart in the state of TN.

I’m the Valet Supervisor here at this Walmart just south of Nashville in Nolensville. Its the only Walmart that has valet parking. The area is right in the middle of a nice are and a bad area, so we get a wide range of “rich” and “poor” customers. We have only parked a few celebrates such as a Tennessee Titans player and a few country singers. I have never seen Nicole Kidman and Carrie Underwood at Walmart, but they do shop at another Walmart a few minutes away in Cool Springs (one of the top nicest parts of Nashville).
This Walmart does need valet parking, not just because people are lazy, but because the parking lot is terrible when it comes to finding parking spots. That’s why Walmart officials has decided to have valet parking at this store to help there costumers get into the store quickly and safely as possible.
We are NOT and I repeat NOT WALMART EMPLOYEES!!! We are a contracted company so we are allowed and greatly accept tips. We have never wrecked any cars or even stole anything from the vehicles. We have been valeting at this Walmart for almost a year now so we know how to help you in the best possible way when it comes to getting in and out of the store as quickly and safely as possible.
I have over 2 years of experience of valeting so me and my employees of my company know how to drive anything. And if we did just happen to damage or steal any vehicles our insurance we cover it without you paying a single cent.

I’ve been to this walmart, It is in a nice neighborhood but They have valet parking because the parking lot is SOOO small because a river runs through it and it has bridges.

I have been to this Wal-Mart. It’s in the richest part of Nashville. Artists like Carrie Underwood and Nichole Kidman shop there. You see very few 1981 Skylarks in that parking lot.

Actually this is the Walmart on Nolensville Rd in Nashville. The parking lot is broken up into a bunch of weird segments due to it being constructed around an existing wetland area. The parking spots are very far from the front door, so they decided to get a valet so people would actually shop at the store.

This is the Nolensville Road Wal-Mart in Nashville, TN. The reason for the valet parking? The store was built on land with a creek running through the property. The city wouldn’t allow the store to build there unless they agreed to mangle the parking lot in such a way that accommodated the creek. Thus, because of the number of elderly, disabled, etc. that frequent Wal-Mart, they created free valet parking.
FYI: Wal-Mart employees are not allowed to accept tips, so the only wages the employees are getting from this service are their regular salaries.

This is the wal-mart that is where a trailer park used to be and it is on the edge of really bad part of town. They added valet because the parking lot is split in two part because of a large stream that floods when it rains.

I know where this Walmart is. They have valet parking because there is a stream running right through the parking lot and there is next to no parking in front of the store, you have to go over little bridges to get to most of the parking lot.

I’ve been to a Wal-Mart on Nolensville Road in Nashville that has valet parking. It’s not in a particularly wealthy area of town, but the parking is truly horrendous in this Wal-Mart. I have a feeling they did this out of necessity due to the terrible parking lot. I avoid this Wal-Mart because of it. And somehow I just don’t feel comfortable giving Wal-Mart employees my car keys.

Read people. It IS in Nashville, TN. And, it’s due to a creek in the area. It certainly has nothing to do with rich people as that’s one of the worst areas of town other than the true inner-city/project areas.
Contrary to popular belief, the “stars” in Nashville are just regular people when they are in Nashville. It’s their haven away from the stares and fans (other than Fan Fare week and yes, I know it’s no longer called Fan Fare, but it is to those of us who live here and have to endure it). They can come home and relax when they are here. It is generally an unwritten rule that you leave them alone or treat them like you would anybody else. They do their own shopping and they shop at big box stores, but mostly at Target. I’ve personally seen three “stars” in Target, two of which approached me to compliment my daughter and say how pretty she was. I simply said “thank you” and left it at that. I didn’t whip out the camera phone and ask for a photo or an autograph. It’s a different world than NY or LA and one they appreciate being able to come home to. They are truly just regular people when they are here and not out on tour. How many paparazzi pics do you see that were taken in Nashville? Very few.
