Sigh. It’s not funny when you KNOW your photo is being taken.
It’s also not funny when you clearly set this up especially for PoWM.
It’s even less funny when you send a photo of yourself just to get on the site.
It would have been much funnier if y’all had simply done your thing at Wal-Mart and taken photos and put them on Facebook, and just kept the silly memory to yourselves.
You’ve essentially destroyed a priceless HS memory by trying to glean Internet fame from it.

Why would somebody in Montana have a Toronto Maple Leaf lawn chair to sit on. They don’t even know what hockey is in Montana let alone who the Toronto Maple Leafs are. This was staged in a Walmart in either Mississauga or Scarborough – two lowly neighbours of Toronto.

Ok, I love this site. And I love just about 99.9 % of the pics posted. But with this all I have to say is even if they ‘did’ take the picture just to be on the website, who cares?! And who cares if they did go to walmart on their prom night. The coolest thing about this pic is they are young and happy and having fun on one of the coolest night of most highschoolers lives. I live in Montana, I remember when our walmart first opened, it was right before prom, so there WERE kids in attire at the store, however, none were having dinner there! But I gotta agree, I don’t remember 1 day in May this year except 2 that were this nice! We’ve had line of storm after storms this year..However the leaveless elm does fit about right… Which makes me really believe it’s a silly prank, because both of those nice days were on Sundays!

my guess is either this is staged, or it’s a school project?? this reminds me when I was in hs and had to do a project for soc/psych. we had to break a “folkway” so we went to taco bell with candles, plates, glasses, etc. We had to document peoples reactions.
