For the Husband who told his Wife I Love You one last time before his plane went down in a field…For the Wife who stopped in the stairs to call Her Husband to say I will Love You Forever…For the Mothers& Fathers who kissed their kids goodbye on the morning that they died, for the Policemen who rushed in with the Firemen to help get others out only to Die Themselves, for the Soldiers who fought back & Lost Their Lives & to the solders that still fight. We Will ALWAYS Remember YOU!!!

Oh, my god…Okay, are we supporting all wars today? Are we going to not forget our wars? Will we never forget our wars? This is quite hilarious. After all, this is a wal-mart thing!
September 11th, 2011
God bless our Military and First Responders who aren’t with us today that went beyond the call of duty on that fateful day. You may be gone but you will never ever be forgotten, and to all the families who lost a loved one that day, you’re thoughts and prayers are with me today.

I was actually pulling into the parking lot of Wal-Marts when I heard the news on the radio! I sat there for 1/2 hour listening, then when I did go inside I was walking around numb, looking at all these people in there that had not heard yet, they had no idea of what just happened. I wanted to get on the loudspeaker and yell that everyone needed to wake up, get home, we just got attacked! But I couldn’t, I was in zombie mode, just did what I had to do, then went to work where I found out my military hubby had been trying to call me. I will never forget that day! God Bless our Military!
September 11th, 2011
my heart goes out to all the people who lost loved ones, i cry today as hard as i did 10 years ago watching the horrific tragedy unfold live before our eyes
i pray that the 24 Canadians who died in the WTC attacks rest in peace and know they will never be forgotten

I was pulling into the parking lot of WALMARTS when I heard it on the radio! I sat there for 1/2 hour listening and not believing. When I did go in and do what I had to do I looked around at all these clueless people that had no idea we had just been attacked. I wanted to get on the loudspeaker and yell that everyone needed to go home, we had just been attacked! (but didn’t, I was in ‘zombie’ mode). I went straight to work after leaving only to find out that my miltary husband had been trying frantically to reach me (we didn’t have cell phones yet) and to let me know he didn’t know what would happen, if he would get to come home or get sent off right away. He did get to come home but we got orders shortly thereafter. Things were never the same then. God bless our military (including their families) and all the first responders, FDNY and NYPD, and any and all families and Americans that were changed by this horrific tragedy!

There were for people I knew, who died on Flt. 175. One of them, was a little friend of mine named Davy, and he was three years old. I’d known him and his two dads, since Davy was 8 mos old. He was a beautiful, darkly cherubic baby with big brown doe eyes. He was like a little Indiana Jones, curious and exploring and fearless.
He was always smiling and loved to be held and to hug.
Davy, Ron, Danny….you are so missed.
And for the first doctor who treated my lupus…Dr. Bertau, you are not forgotten either.
The pain is still with me. I haven’t had the heart to visit NYC again since that terrible day.
I love that city, although I am a Los Angeles native. I worked in NYC, have many friends there….
To all of America, we are still strong.
E Pluribus Unum
And let’s never forget that…

We will never forget! I was only eleven when this happend and I still remember my teacher coming into our classroom and ushering us into the room next door and watching it all unfold on the TV and one of my friends bawling because she knew it meant war and her dad was going over. GOD BLESS THE TROOPS, THE FIRST RESPONDERS, AND THEIR FAMILIES….these are the people who make the ultimate sacrifice, so people like this Nebraska farm girl and continue to do what we love as FREE and PROUD Americans….9/11 victims, we will never forget you and you will always be in our hearts! GOD BLESS THE MEN AND WOMEN WHO FIGHT FOR US!
September 11th, 2011
This is a call to all American males to stop wearing sandals in honor of America because male sandalwearing is an Arab custom. Starting now and from now on, we call on all patriotic men to never wear sandals. Women are ok, they can keep wearing sandals because sandals are a long time FEMALE American custom.
September 11th, 2011
Tears…
September 11th, 2011
RIP to all those who died that day,and THANK YOU to all of the men and women who fought for our country…
September 11th, 2011
Remembering today is hard for apparently almost everyone. I remember where I was when I got the call and I will NEVER forget watching the plane hit the 2nd tower. God bless america and our troops those who lost their lives that fateful day and those who did go above and way beyond their call of duty and those who still do it for us every day! We will never forget!
September 11th, 2011
A rather unfortunate choice of words…this is not a “Funny Picture of Walmart.com” but the sentiment is there…we’ll never forget.
September 11th, 2011
I’ve become numb to the media’s year-round 24/7 tragedy blitz, but this time every year I’ll just be going about my day and I’ll hear a 9/11 victim’s family member’s testimonial and tear up immediately.
September 11th, 2011
I will always remember those heroic words: “LET’S ROLL”
GOD BLESS AMERICA!
September 11th, 2011
Ok, I know it was a tragedy and people lost their lives… enough already with this shit. It’s over, move on!!
September 11th, 2011
Several thousand lives….tragic. However, the blundered reaction to it destroyed 60 years of American reputation, making the world less safe than before is even more so.
I think it’s high time America relinquish its attempts at being a world power and let’s get Britain to resume it once more. The world can’t afford America being hurt anymore…because she is too unpredictable now.
September 11th, 2011
They got the master mind but there are more out there. God bless all who gave their lives, and all that are still haunted by this tragedy.
September 11th, 2011
God bless all the heroes and families that lost their relatives…
Greetings from Poland

Thank you POWM for honoring our fallen heroes
September 11th, 2011
For the 24 Canadians who were murdered on Sept. 11, 2001 and the 157 Canadian Men and women killed in Afghanistan since 2002. They didn’t attack Canada, but they attacked our best friend.
September 11th, 2011
This is a salute to all Hero’s who lost their lives that day. I Salute you. Thank you for your service.
September 11th, 2011
I am so very pleased POWM has taken today to honor 9/11.
It has been such a sad day & sad 10 years with what happened.
What hurts me to the core are the idiots on here that have to put down somethings that are so rude & cruel & then the ones that do the thumbs down for the other’s that truly care.
All I can say is that the sicko’s will have to answer to God someday.
September 11th, 2011
Damned straight I have not forgotten what those filthy diaper-head pigs have done, and still are doing.

God bless America and the United States Military.
September 11th, 2011
I wish I could get my hands on the three clueless assholes who went through and disliked every post which was positive and honored our American heroes.
September 11th, 2011
WTF is wrong with the assholes that disliked the positive comments?

September 12th, 2011
You remember 9/11 but you don’t remember America constantly bombing countries just for their own selfish gains, killing 132000 children and women in Iraq and Afghanistan. You remember 9/11 yet you don’t remember the massacre of 8000+ muslims in Bosnia. You remember 9/11 but you don’t remember an estimated 2million Palestinians killed since 1948. R.I.P
Dear USA, your 9/11 is our 24/7. Sincerely, Palestine ♥.
September 12th, 2011
Did Bush know of the plot and sacrifice thousands of lives just to get himself re-elected? The movie “Fehrenheit 911″ shows what really happened. Michale Moore has offered to pay $1,000,000 to anyone who can prove the film wrong. Still to this day no one has ever claimed the money.

Lest We Forget
The people who lost their lives, the brave souls who helped, the families, our soldiers.and everyone who has been affected around the world.
Never Forget
September 12th, 2011
How the hell are we gonna “”forget”" when every yackoff with a bully pulpit has been yammering about 9-11 9-11 9-11 for the past 2 fockin weeks. Geebus I’m glad it’s over. Can we fockin shut up about it and move on? Yeah, I know, this post will get voted down. Big fockin whoop. You yackoffs with your streak of “”patriotism”" a mile wide and an inch deep running up your backs need to turn around so we can see that yellow belly. If you’re really SOOOOOOOOOO moved by the events of 1 decade & one day ago, carry your happy asses to your nearest recruiter & join the military.
SSgt. Adam Wilson US Army. Currently in Kabul, Afghanistan (shocking, huh!!!???)
September 12th, 2011
it will forever be a “where were you when” moment for this counrty. the american people, me included, had began to take their freedoms for granted. 9-11 serves as my reminder to be thankful that we live in the greatest nation on earth and that our freedom isnt free. it comes with a price, and thank you to all those who pay it. the soldiers and their loved ones. because the families they leave behind pay the price with them! thank you all for your sacrifices on our behalf!! much love and respect to you all!!
September 12th, 2011
Thank You POWM this is the best picture you have ever displayed!! Thank You for taking the time to honor our American heroes.
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!! HELL NO I AINT FORGETTEN!!!

“American, we love you.”
Are you referring to American Airlines, or what?
September 12th, 2011
Nope, not shocked at all, Sarg. Just because you put on a uniform, does mean you can’t still be a douchbag. You prove that there are assholes in every walk of life. I salute you for standing up for and using YOUR right to say whatever you like. We cannot fault you for that.
) Please take care… Get you and your team home safe (and soon)!!
September 12th, 2011
For the people giving all these patriotic messages the thumbs down……..GO AWAY AND DIE!!!!!!!
September 12th, 2011
awe, you’re not all jerks at PoW after all
September 12th, 2011
American Airlines Flight 11
United Airlines Flight 175
American Airlines Flight 77
United Airlines Flight 93
The 200 who jumped from the World Trade Center
The 189 who died at the Pentagon
FDNY
PDNY
More than 90 countries lost citizens in the attacks on the World Trade Center.
These passengers, these civilians, these Americans going about their business with no intent to harm anyone – murdered in cold blood.
Rest assured that we will never forget.
September 12th, 2011
To those who dislike Nadia’s comment- translate it first!!! There is no reason to “dislike” it.
Mucha tristeza… les envio mucha fuerza desde Argentina!!!! = Very sad … I send a lot of strength from Argentina!!
September 12th, 2011
I’m really saddened by the people who have spewed so much hatred on this link. Yet, as I tell people, my husband has served 2 overseas deployments and fought for this country so they have the right to be a jackass without repercussion; sad but true.
I’m so proud and honored to be an American and to enjoy the freedom that so many paid for with their lives for us to have. I will always remember; we must all never forget. God bless America!
September 12th, 2011
@ KING:, MIKE, ENERGIZER, SOMEPEOPLE, ET AL
Screw all you shallow patriotism people. Like ”Sargent” said, “you’re a mile wide and an inch deep”.
People in this country, ALL PEOPLE, have a right to free speech and they may very well be ‘patriots’ EVERY day not just when someone shows you a picture. AMEN.
September 12th, 2011
@TXLEAGER
How do you know who’s a “shallow patriot” and who’s not?
You’ve always been an asshole, so it’s not surprising to see you take that stand. But hey, that’s your right.
September 12th, 2011
Can you fix the typo please? America, not American…
September 12th, 2011
Who’s your American? I thought you loved us as a country….
September 13th, 2011
what saddens me is that people on here actually gave thumbs down to the very positive comments here. No wonder this world is screwed up.
September 13th, 2011
Something else important to remember:
The four legged first responders.
Without search and rescue dogs, there are some survivors who might not have made it out in time.
http://www.artinfo.com/CharlotteDumas
Photographer, Charlotte Dumas has a photo essay of portraits of 9/11 rescue dogs. Most of whom are very old and long retired now. And a few dogs were lost in the aftermath from exhaustion and stress.
Perhaps it might be fitting for there to be a memorial to their service as well.
I think it’s already a terribly neglectful thing that our nation has no monument to the magnificent war horses who were in service during both World Wars.
There is one in London. But not here in the US.
We should never forget the dog and the horse, our best friends and strength in some of the worst times known to men.
September 13th, 2011
I am shocked that nobody has mentioned that they died for the People of Walmart, i.e. their constitutional right to be free to express their lunatic individiality!
September 14th, 2011
Anyone notice the typo on that… And yes America we do love you!!
September 14th, 2011
@ReDu
There is a monument here in the states for a horse that served in Korea. Pretty sure it’s on an Army base. Sorry, but I can’t remember where.
September 15th, 2011
“american” (as you say in the subtitle of the pic) we hate you (r lie disease), yours truly, europe (hello my name is oliver from germany and were not better either) but this lying has to STOP.
September 15th, 2011
if the firemen did not just run in when they got there, they would be alive today.
September 16th, 2011
You spelled America wrong.
September 19th, 2011
Which Walmart was this picture taken at?
September 27th, 2011
It didn’t change my life one bit….I kind of got over it…. That’s what americans do right? whatever. . . .
October 10th, 2011
