Gettin’ Some Bread
Now I don’t know all the job duties that are involved with the “Hot Bread Express” delivery guy, but (1) He is taking his job way too seriously and (2) 84% of what he is doing is unnecessary. I just feel like sometimes going above-and-beyond the job isn’t really a good thing…

His sign should say “Hot Buns Express.”

Give him a break – he is older and doing what he needs to do to make a buck. Plus side is that he has a handicap and they hired him.

I respect this guy more than 99% of the weirdos I see on here. Maybe he’s just being light hearted and enjoying his life. Give him a break!

@ SUZIEQ: I completely agree with you!

Apparently, Chef Boyardee was forced out of retirement by our government….

I agree!! Good for him and his sense of humor and good on Walmart for giving him a job (that they obviously created just for him)

Not anything outlandish in this pic.

Companies actually get a check to them for hiring handiicapped people…..sometimes they are the absolute sweetest and actually still care about the customers even tho half of them come in with a pissed off attitude and feel like the employees can be shit on just cause they work there. Good for this guy and his hot bread on wheels cart.

He delivers to you while you shop in any department in 30 minutes or less….or your order is free.

I guess his retirement plan did not quite work out as well as expected

Next step in life is eating jello at the nursing home

This pic isn’t funny. It’s mean your making fun of an older man who’s proud of his job. Isn’t there some big woman with clothes that are too small on, or someone peeing in the parking lot that you cam put up instead of this?!?!

If he’s delivering bread why are there pies in the display ?
October 12th, 2011
Good for him!
Too many people complain about old people ‘sitting around and draining society’ and this guy somehow managed to find a job despite his advanced age and handicap.
He needs a ‘Real Men Of Genius’ commercial.
Here’s to you Mr Walmart Hot Bread Delivery Guy….
(Singer) – I’ve got your hot bread right here!

With the store being in Texas my guess is: This is what happened to Enron’s retirement plan.

I’m with SUZIIEQ and wench on this one. Maybe he is working at Walmart to keep busy and active but maybe he simply has to and never thought he would have to work at his age. I wish him the best!
October 12th, 2011
Kudos to the bread guy! I’d just rather they gave him a cart with pimped out rims, and maybe some leopard striping.

Wish my Walmart had a hot bread express guy. I had to get out of the checkout line the other day because I forgot my damn Hot Bread.
October 12th, 2011
Some 300lb woman is gonna bitchslap him when all the motorized carts are gone.

Ahhh a prime candidate for Walmart’s corporate policy of taking out hidden life insurance policies on their older or more sickly employees. So when this gentlemen widow is struggling to pay the funeral costs, Wm will knock down a sweet 100000, and no one will ever know……. low principles everyday……..

He does not even work at Walmart…it’s a day outing from the “home”
October 12th, 2011
I’m surprised they’re letting him utilize one of the carts-I worked for walmart corp in the accounting dept and they’d never let me use a cart that was for a customer when I was on the main floor-they wouldn’t even let the 9 months pregnant greeter have something to sit on at the door!!
October 12th, 2011
Hey baby, wanna see my hot buns?
October 12th, 2011
Seriously…(chef’s) hats off to the Hot Bread Dude! At least his personal parts are all covered and he looks like he enjoys life. More power to him!
October 12th, 2011
@MEL… Those aren’t pies. That’s a mobile warming unit and those are rotisserie and fried chicken containers in it.
October 12th, 2011
deliver me fresh hot bread over a hot mess of bottom biscuits any day.
