Beer, Brats, & Lederhosen
Getting your Oktoberfest on a little bit? No? Oh you just like wearing big weird dresses? That’s cool, I’ll still drink to that.

October 12th, 2011
I’m guessing that’s a square dancing outfit!
October 12th, 2011
Isn’t that a square dancing outfit?
October 12th, 2011
That’s a square dancing dress….it’s not really that funny or silly….at least she’s not using a wheelchair, scooter or hanging out of her outfit…
October 12th, 2011
I like this photo. It makes me want to go square dancing. It’s in focus, bright, and she’s not showing too much. It doesn’t belong on this page.
October 12th, 2011
Coming from a German heritage that is not a Dirndl. That is a square dancing dress, just saying.
October 12th, 2011
How can you tell the difference LOL!!!
October 12th, 2011
Bet she was on her way to, or back from, square dancing. Saw someone dressed like this years ago in a store (short flouncy pink dress), thought “How weird!”, then was informed that it was a square dance outfit. It’s cute and does NOT reveal any bits of her that you wouldn’t want to see – unlike the outfits of other Walmartians!
October 12th, 2011
That’s actually a “square dancing” dress.
October 12th, 2011
I love how the first few are correcting you, who cares what its for lol its still weird
October 12th, 2011
Hey, its Nancy Grace!
I didnt know they did square dancing on Dancing With the Stars!!!
October 12th, 2011
this SO does not even qualify to be on here…
October 12th, 2011
it’s a square dancing dress and considering she looks older perfectly normal
October 12th, 2011
Nice gams!
October 12th, 2011
Ummm…. that’s a square dancing costume. Which is not at all German or Oktober-festy.
October 12th, 2011
Not German. It is a square dancing dress!
October 12th, 2011
she’s getting ready for a “ho’down” or a “hootnanny”
October 12th, 2011

@ Abby…thats not an apron dress, like an Oktoberfest dress would be…and if you’re German, you can just tell!
October 12th, 2011
When the words “hoe down” are used on this website, it usually has a COMPLETELY different meaning.
October 12th, 2011
Usually when I’ve encountered square dancing on tv, it’s usually done by the over 60 crowd, and I’m not talking Jane Seymour or Susan Lucci, but by (insert name of famous boner-killing old lady example here).
October 12th, 2011
Alice went a little TOO far down the rabbit hole this time.
October 12th, 2011
Ahh…October, time for the square dancing festivities/competitions to heat up. Let the dueling banjo’s begin!!
(Ok, I actually like watch square dancing, its kind of fascinating to watch in a train wreck sort of way).
October 12th, 2011
Swing your partner Do si do!
Walmart’s prices are low! low! low!
October 12th, 2011
Saw a little old lady in one of those red and white checkered square dancing outfits once. A friend of mine was talking to her. We were in some business she said they needed to get her outta there so she could go dancing. Mikey told me to ask her how old she was.
“105″ she said.
Make fun of square dancers all ya wanna. I’ve never seen a really young one dressed like this. So you gotta ask…are only old people square dancers, or does square dancing keep old peeps alive and kickin…and outta the motorized carts at WalMart?
October 12th, 2011
Who the hell square dances other than when you were a 2nd grader? Let alone know what a square dancing dress looks like for an adult? And then wear it to walmart!
October 12th, 2011
Id take her for a roll in the hay.
October 12th, 2011
Nice for square dancing, or clogging. But, Willie the Pimp does purple better.
October 12th, 2011
Do-See-Do to Wal-Mart we go!
October 12th, 2011
You could at least give us a ‘Worst Of…..’ when you are running low on material, instead of this.
October 12th, 2011
I’d let those legs wrap around me any day!
October 12th, 2011
no tats, exposed back fat or even panty lines. Nothing to see…NEXT?
October 12th, 2011
Yes guys … that IS a dress for square dancing.
October 12th, 2011
Square dancing is probably good exercise. It really burns more calories than say reading this site!
October 12th, 2011
Sandy, square dancing, or clogging, is VERY good exercize. One hour of dancing will have most people on the floor. It’s twice as active as an aerobic workout. (And yes, she does have nice legs!)
October 12th, 2011
I like the skirt part of that outfit. In fact, it’s something I would wear myself as I love strong bright colours. (I will never get lost in a snowstorm).
October 12th, 2011
I love these dresses. They used to have a square dancer convention when I lived in Memphis and you would see them all over town, at the bus stop, restaurants, all in their colorful gear. The men frequently have a shirt made in the same fabric as their partner!!
October 12th, 2011
one of the better choices for a wal-creature as i was in a local wal-mart earlier today and saw a gal wearing sponge-bob pajamas and she was in her 30′s
October 12th, 2011
need a shot from the front to make sure its not a guy!
October 12th, 2011
I’d give her a do-si-do and an alamande left… she’s still looking pretty damn good from this angle!
October 12th, 2011
I’m not german, and even i can tell that there’s nothing german about that dress. It’s definitely square dancing! I did that as a kid with my mum. It was a blast, and all those mostly old people were really nice.
Also, awesome, it’s in my favorite color
October 12th, 2011
@Wes”"When the words “hoe down” are used on this website, it usually has a COMPLETELY different meaning”"
COMMENT OF THE WEEK!!!! LOL
October 12th, 2011
She could be stunning in that outfit & it’s still useless. That dress screams, “I just want to DANCE all night.” Steer clear.
October 12th, 2011
The picture isn’t that bad. What’s scary is how many of you knew that was a square dancing dress!
October 12th, 2011
i’m not even going to touch MySelf in the shower for a week…
October 12th, 2011
what kind of adhesive does she use on her hair
October 12th, 2011
i’m sure she has a matching bowling shirt with the “PURPLE PERIL” emblazoned across the back…
October 12th, 2011
how does one do the square dance grind… uh, wait…
October 12th, 2011
Let’s do the hokey-pokey
October 12th, 2011
Panties or no panties?
October 12th, 2011
I love how she’s not wearing anything underneath ( ok, Im just guessing, but its fun to think so)
October 12th, 2011
Swing your partner down the bread aisle,
Now promenade by the lemonade,
Allemende around with your cart,.
Smile pretty, cuz you’re on People of Wal-mart.
October 12th, 2011
@ Dean:
Like Lady Anne said, it’s good exercise and I think that the dancing has helped keep those seniors young, healthy and in good shape.
Now, we just have to get pry those 300+ lb behemoths out of the motor carts and get them on their feet. I’d help you guys out, but I can’t find my crowbar.
October 12th, 2011
@ Linda S of Staten Island:

October 13th, 2011
‘Shagging’, a South Carolina thing, kinda like 50′s dancing.
Very popular along the coast, especially Myrtle Beach, which by no coincidence is where you would expect to find a WalMart and someone like this.
October 13th, 2011
I think she has very nice legs!
October 13th, 2011
I bet theres lightning under that skirt!!!
October 13th, 2011
Nice legs.
October 13th, 2011
Obviously the person that took the picture and the person that captioned it, have never seen a square dance dress before. You guys need to get out more. Or use Google images.
October 13th, 2011
Oktoberfest or square dance, I don’t care. Love the dress. Love the shoes. Love the hair. Love the gams!
October 13th, 2011
Hello, I love you, won’t you tell me your name…
I love it! Super sexy and feminine!
Makes me want to take up square dancing (or whatever she dances to).
October 14th, 2011
What’s she wearing under that outfit? Most likely pettipants that match the petticoat. Square dance pettipants are granny panties with row after row of lace sewn onto them.

You asked …
October 16th, 2011
Nein! You dumkopf…it’s a…I guess from what every one else says it’s a square dancing dress…mein gott. Americans are strange.
October 18th, 2011
Her shoes look like the ones for clogging. It looks like taps at the toe.
October 18th, 2011
Yep, people down here like to square dance. It would be a little unusual to see that outfit at the “Thornblade” Wal-Mart in Greer, but just another day at the Wal-Mart on White Horse Road in Greenville.
October 22nd, 2011
at least for an old woman her legs look good lol
October 30th, 2011
yes the first poster i think was right square dancing.to me that is for rednecks
December 21st, 2011
