6 Days ‘Til Christmas!
My man is doing a last call for wishlists, so you better jump up on his lap and let him know what you want before you wind up with a wooden toy train (assuming Santa hasn’t changed up his default toy since 1938).

that is so depressing

i sat on Santa’s lap in the 60s. it was in downtown dept store with a special section set up as Santa’s home. It might have been cheesy but it sure had more class than a pathetic cardboard backdrop with leaning against a rack of ready to assembly furntire. My how we have gone down hill.

Santa doesn’t rank a better place in the store to sit than that?!

Poor Santa.

Someone needs to tell him to push the stuffing down some more in his suit. He looks like he got some big tit-tays!

This sure isn’t Macy’s of days gone by!

Mimi i would expect a walmart santa to have some hefty man boobs.

Aboot time that fake was put in his place, eh?

this is the santa for de de Dee kids

This is a better set up than what they had at my Walmart. Santa was a little on the skinny side and there wasn’t even a cute backdrop. Was plain and boring looking. No wonder I didn’t see a line of kids waiting for their picture.

Yep… Nothing says Christmas like a cardboard fireplace.

I worked for Walmart, this is ALL they have been using for THREE years! Last year I did the photos and same as the year before that, and the year before that they lovely people of walmart put the backdrop TOGETHER wrong, it took me an HOUR to get it apart and back together NICELY!

Even Santa is falling back on hard times. Where else can Santa get a free backdrop and get roll back on just about everything? Walmart!

We had ours in the Garden Center, which is where the Christmas stuff is anyhow. No cardboard background but a lot of toys around in addition to the decorations. We are lucky, our Santa looked the part down to the real beard. Will agree, this is a bit lacking.

Security, we’ve got another unauthorized Santa trying to lure children in the furniture dept.

Three of his reindeer are donkeys and the sled has one brown door.

Poor guy looks like he’s in the warehouse. How pathetic is that? Walmart should be ashamed. Even our local candy stores have rather elegant set-ups with beautiful decorations making it bright and cheerful.

Now that’s just pathetic… even a five year old could look at that and stop believing in Santa. I just did.

I work at WalMart and our photo department had two xmas trees and flowers, and santa was in a nice chair!!! Its not WalMart, just who the people are working there!!

Santa is hiding from all the female Walcreatures who want to sit in his lap…

Nobody needs Christmas more than Walmart. One would think they would keep it as grand as possible. Not just hire some local homeless person with the promise of an extra pack of cigarette and a cheap bottle of wine if no parents complain their kids were molested while on his lap.

Hahahahha
The CREASE right across the top of the tree and mantle mirror!!!
Nice touch!

I bet that crease in the cardboard backdrop was created on purpose for added authenticity. I mean, how else would you tell you’ve had your Christmas portraits taken at Walmart otherwise?
December 19th, 2011
After a long day shopping for gifts, you can make your choice….sit on Santa’s lap or on a futon couch.
December 20th, 2011
Wow, a true Walmart white trash Christmas!
December 20th, 2011
What a sad, sad setup for that equally sad looking Santa. (Sort of makes me think the person that thought it up maybe lost their virg at the office Xmas party last year, on the dusty floor in the stock room.)

Geez, that is depressing.

At least the guy won’t be recognized and this is now just one of his nightmares, wonder how many kids stopped believing in Santa this year after looking at this obvious fake?
