Listen, you don’t have to tell me how this is a medical issue, I get that and it sucks donkey balls. What I don’t get is why we need to let that boy hang outside of our pants for the world to see? You think I wanna be walking down the aisle not paying attention because I’m peeping that new Beiber CD and bump into your warm bag of piss? Well I don’t!!!

I work in medicine and a drainage bag won’t really work if it’s way up there. The proper place is on the leg, under the pants. It takes a lot of effort and is likely uncomfortable as Hell to have it come up and out of the pants, and be above the bladder! Or.. even if it’s a nephrostomy bag.. that person is just being exhibitionist and disgusting!

Pretty much what @HMM said. Any sort of ostomy anything, totally sucks. I should know. I changed them for 4 long years. Displaying it in public is uncalled for.

No self respect. It’s like “Hey, look at me!” From where the bag is, she may have some backing up into her bladder anyway, needs to be lower, like attached to her lower leg. Prime candidate for infection. So gross. It may be just wallmart but it’s a public place. I would refuse service to this person if she came into a restaurant I worked in looking like this.

That actually looks like a drain- not a pee bag. As in someone had an infection or a surgery where they need to drain- if so that would be too high up to hide in your pants leg- still they could have covered it under the shirt!

I can answer the “why” for you. I have an ostomy bag from severe Crohn’s. “Free-bagging” is much more comfortable than tucking. Your pants fit differently with a bag. There’s pressure on your tummy as it fills, etc. While I don’t ever recall forgetting to tuck when in public, this could have been unintentional.

You think this is discusting? Try having a neighbor who has a colostomy and doesnt care to cover it up with a shirt! He mows his lawn with it ALL hanging out! Its usually full too!

-I doubt he is trying to display it. Also its hard to impossible to comfortably tuck this into shirts and what not all the time. Stuff happens. It hurts to see that if my bag slips out I will be judged so harshly. Like being an 18 yr old with a bag for the rest of my life doesn’t suck enough.

Sorry DRBARBIE, Unintentional my butt. Likely it was intentional for some sick reason. I’ve had an ostomy for over 20 years, and hell would freeze over before my bag would EVER be outside of my clothing. Talk about uncomfortable….I’d have to be devoid of sensation if I didn’t know my bag of crap was outside my clothes for the world to see (& possibly SMELL!) The majority of ostomates would never “flaunt” their bag-because then we’d get to enjoy other people and their bodily fluids….like them puking from the nasty sight and smell of us!!
