Have you ever been with anyone shopping for clothes that size? They don’t have them at wally world, for sure. Or anywhere else that I can think off except specialty shops where they cost a fortune.
Yeah, some of use need to have our mouths taped shut, but believe me when I tell you we take no pride in being large. The shame and humiliation of riding one of those carts when you’re fat is horrible and we feel your snickers and laughter behind us.
While many of you were blessed/cursed with not being able to gain weight, some of the world was cursed with not being able to keep it off – and a lot of the fatties are wondering why their doctors can’t find the underlying cause. I say this because I have pushed my own doctors over the past 2 years about my recent GREAT weight gain. After missing a nodule on my thyroid for almost a year, I just started meds for hypothyroidism this very morning. The TARDS….
And shame on you for judging her.

How does one go out looking like that. She must know that her bra is sticking out as well as here backside. I know I can feel the air if my shirt rides up on me. I’m sorry, in all honesty, I could stand to loose a good 30 lbs myself and I really don’t try to judge but i’ll tell you what. I know it’s healthier for me to park in the space furthest away from the store because it is good exercise to walk, I know it it detrimental to my health to ride around the store in an automatic cart not using my muscles and thus burning some fat calories. I understand there is hypothyroidism, I do not have that but I also know that you need to follow a healthy diet to help with the hypothyroidism as well so…need to stop using that as an excuse because that is exactly what it is.
I would never…ever go out dressed like that and make anyone else subject to something I know is going to gross people out and elicit a horrible response making me feel worse, (tell me she didn’t know that looking at her ass-crack would gross people out) but that is just me and I like to carry myself with pride and dignity, I prefer to look neat and professional. Even if you didn’t want to look neat and professional you can at least find large attractive looking clothes to cover those rolls up. You always put yourself out there the way you would like others to perceive you and this says…lazy, jobless slob…giving some of us chubby girls a bad rep…shame… Get professional help for your self-confidence.

Semi-fatass, IF this woman has a thyroid problem, she needs to go to the doctor ASAP! She looks like a young woman but carrying around all that weight will shorten her life substantially. She certainly can’t keep up with a toddler at her size!
Also, some of the women’s plus sizes go up to size 5X at Walmart. She CAN dress appropriately without going to an expensive store. She just chooses not to.

My wife is a large lady, and she does indeed use the cart. Her knees are shot, as is her back. Some of this may come from her weight, but more of it comes from the fact that her first husband had her confused with a punching bag, and her back with a thing like a football for his steel toes. She shops at WM when she can find their jeans, little of their other merchandise will fit her. The nearest “fat shop” of any consequence is 35 miles away, not horribly convenient. She does shop there. However, her skin analagous to the woman in the picture is never displayed to the public. She has far too much pride to do that. Realizing that this site is for making fun of sorry looking folks shopping at Wally’s, I’ll smile too, and say “yuk”, but there is always another story to be heard

@hairball…I am sure there is a story for everyone. Most fat people cannot walk because of the pressure it puts on the knees. But all it takes is a change in diet. I HAVE a Thyroid problem that caused me to gain weight, but recently started incorporating more fresh fruit, vegatables, and whole grains in my diet, no fast food, and lost 30lbs. You know, its not that she’s fat, there are plenty of well dress fat people in the world. Just as there are plenty of thin people who dress like utter slobs. Its the fact that she doesn’t have the !@#$&! self-respect to cover up! TO make sure her pants fit, her bra fits right and that she has a proper shirt on. I don’t always look my best when I go out, but daaauuum. I at least try to match, wear clean clothes that match. To all the people commenting that Walmart doesn’t sell clothes that would fit her or that go past size 24…. Bullshit! I work at Walmart and for convenience shop for most of my work clothes there. I’m a larger woman (who would rather saw my own arm off with a table tennis paddle than dress like the woman in the photo). I’ve seen ladies shirts in decent prints or solid colors that go up to 5X and pants/shorts that go up to 28 in the waist. They also have mens track pants that would have a bit more stretch and could cover her backside. The panties go up to a size 13-15 depending on the brand. She CHOOSES to dress this way.

Ohh my goodness…I just find that sooo gross…the other bad thing is that I wonder if that baby near her without the shirt on and the low rider pants showing the diaper is hers. I guess like Mother like child. I know some folks are weight challenged but at least care for your child even if you don’t care about what you look like.

@ rude: If she just had surgery it was probably paid for by tax payer dollars. Let’s pray our money was well spent it was bariatric surgery. FYI rude, that was one long run on sentence you wrote, go back to HS. Also, You shouldn’t use retarded as an insult. It makes you look like an ass.

I’m a complete fat ass, I need to loose 100lbs, but I still don’t ride the fat cart, dress like a complete trailer trash slob or let my kids go around looking like that. I take pride in my appearance and accentuate my positive qualities. I have battled my weight my WHOLE life but I will never, EVER look like that. This is a portrait in laziness and entitlement. She is exactly what’s wrong with this country. Let’s get too huge to work, cultivate some health problems associated with morbid obesity and get some disability. Let’s push out some babies and have the good tax paying citizens support them.

@Not me, I can almost say with 100% certainty, yes, she stinks. SHe can’t wash her ass like normal sized people can, she has yeast growing deep under those fat rolls.
And finally, my back, knees, shoulders are shot too but I still go to work. My pain is from doing my job which involves taking care of people like this. It’s a choice people!!

Cut out all the sodas, all fruit drinks with corn syrup or high fructose corn syrup in them, all prepared/boxed food, quit eating at the quickie burger joints, shop mainly in the produce section of your market, & eat 85% of your food raw. All the excess weight will go away as will wear & tear on all the joints. Maybe even a few of our diseases will disappear. You won’t even need to diet.

I really am shaking my head at all these photos, is this for real or is it set up. Do you have days when these people are asked to attend WalMart so that they can be photographed. I know we are not all tanned beauties, but honestly, I have seen a few outlandish sites in my local community, but I have never seen such a collection of these sort of people. Surely this is the exception and not the rule. What is it about WalMart if this is the truth that attracts these people. It looks just like a normal store, we have heaps of these type of stores over here too, but I honestly don’t see this. I know we are not perfect and there are some atrocious sights out there here too, but I have never seen so many in one place. Please explain to me if you can how this phenomena occurs. I am really not having a go at the US, I just find it hard to believe that these people are for real. No country is perfect, and I am sure there is a lot you could throw back at me, but this is really an eye opener for me and I cant imagine what these people’s lives must be like and do they have mirrors.

Semi Fat Ass, I had hypothyroidism for a year before it was diagnosed too, but I NEVER allowed myself to get fat, ever. I just ate less and excersized more. There is NO EXCUSE for this kind of sloth.

I’ve seen clothes at Wal Mart that go up to 5x. They’re most often on the clearance racks because there are fewer people who wear that size. That makes them cheaper.
If you are very large and have no clothes that fit but need to go out, you could:
-Cut a slit in the top of a woven throw and wear it as a poncho.
-Cut an old, colorful bedsheet in half, or fold it in half, and wear it like a sarong.
-Sew one beach towel into a spaghetti strap top and another into a skirt.
-Create a simple tube-style top and wraparound skirt out of a $3 fleece blanket, sold at Wal Mart.
I’m not joking. There MUST be some way to not go out looking like this.
