The one on the left is a long distance runner – compression socks are usually black and usually worn for runs longer than 15 miles. Looking at his legs, he is probably at the height of marathon training and recovering from a run by hunting for carbs. I often go shopping after a long run in my gear and there is nothing odd about it (except that I am sweating and stinking to high heaven). The one on the right is another story.

That Asian chick has more mileage on her than a fleet of 1985 peterbuilts!! You can tell by the way she is dressed, she had to be a “juicy girl” when she was about 40 years younger. Even tho they have reached their expiration date they still try to dress like they are 20!! I’ve seen a few strolling around base,,,yikes!!!!

My immediate thought was the same as one above. The man is wearing compression socks. They are worn for medical reasons and really shouldn’t be made fun of. My husband looks funnier in his cause he only has to wear one on one leg. Now that looks weird. But I’d rather him look weird then be dead of a blood clot!
