Just like the worst of ANY race or group makes the whole look bad! The rebel flag is part of southern history! And having pride in your history does not make a person racist! What it stood for was NOT slavery! It stood for not wanting to be ruled and told what to do! Those people’s ancestors had come over here to get away from “ultimate rule and ultimate law” and they wanted to keep it that way. Back then, now, and ANY time in history…he few reflect on the whole….and that can be good or bad! Calling someone racist or saying he will be toothless in a few years makes you just as petty and small minded as you are accusing him of being from one picture! And there is a BIG difference between redneck and white trash! Just like there is between ANY skin color and the derogatory term that is associated with it!

Hey Duckman, did you know that the Swastika was originally a buddhist symbol of peace? But after the nazis used it, it doesn’t get recognized as such anymore. It’s seen as a symbol of hatred and ignorance. Now the ‘stars and bars’ might have been a lot of things at one time. But since it was used as a symbol of defense of slavery and states’ rights, it’s now seen as a symbol of redneck hatred and ignorance. Hilarious that this fool thinks he’s better than anyone else, with his no shaving and his cracker teeth, but apparently he’s proud. That’s nice for him.

Anybody who thinks that the confederate flag stands for slavery is just an idiot. Do your research people. Not one single slave was brought to America under the Confederate flag. They were all brought over under the American flag. And who do you guys think was selling the Africans into slavery? Thats right, other Africans. They werent kidnapped and forced into it, they were sold by their own people. And frankly, as a general rule, the vast majority of slaves were treated very well. Not all, some were treated horribly, but those are the ones you hear about, and it gave all of slavery a bad name.
But stop and think about it, if we as Americans dont wake up and start doing something, we will be back in a similar situation, only worse. We might as well be slaves to the government, that is what they want. A nation full of people with no backbone or balls to stand up for what is right.

To claim the war was waged for “states’ rights” is to ignore the “right” that ignited the whole conflict: the right to own another human being and to unanswerable to anyone what is done to that person.
If it symbolizes a heritage, that heritage is tainted with the shame of slavery, of Jim Crow laws, and of the culture wars of today. It should be disowned by any person of discernment.
