Okay, we usually never post the little “stories” that come along with most picture submissions, not because we don’t care but mainly because they are long, drawn out stories that would probably only have a 10% chance of being funny if you were there, but this one amused me so I thought I’d share.

She’s not dirty. She’s old. Her arms and legs are covered in bruises and liver spots. Common with the aged or those with nutritional/medical issues. I like the braids. I just can’t justify the rest of the outfit. Her neck and upper chest are a shade of red while the rest of her exposed skin seems mostly whitish suggesting she does cover up her goodies at times. Even if she’s not homeless, I’m sure she is surviving on very limited means. Rock on granny.

My God! talking bout a hard knocks life! This lady should write a memoir. Starts in the 60′s with lots of mescaline and LSD, a disco hooker in the 70′s, crack head in the 80′s, homeless in the 90′s, living on an indian reservation in 2000′s and now picking up enough cans to buy that cool Ipod and some groceries. She calls herself Pocahontas. This is in the Wal-Mart in Mineola, Texas, not Austin-and people do look at her strangely. She is very mentally ill (maybe due to drug use, that is unknown) and has a daughter that isn’t much better. A LOT of the locals know her, she’s generally out and about during the summer, but she dresses like this no matter the temperature.

Local, I can see tht u r not always around her therefore ur opinion would be the same as those around u. if u r then I have mistaken.. , if u wer to see me and know me actually ur opinion of me wouldn’t be so harsh as from what u hear .enchanted lakes is wicked and cruel. also my mother is not all a bad person. she does need help.
