I imagine that is her way of dealing with the necessity of shaving your head for brain surgery. While I am no expert, I would guess that this would permit a sterile incision site while still creating the illusion of a full head of hair when wearing a hat.

Judging from the attire, the sunglasses inside, and the fact that the hair is perfectly shaved on top and different colors from front to back, I’m going to have to say that this was done purposely and that she thinks it looks pretty badass.

i think its ridiculous how no one can have there own style atleast she is original every one is always judging people you dont know whats going on in other peoples lives that they dress a certain way or wear there hair and besides that you dont need to know i like her hair just because i wouldnt wear mine like that doesnt give me the right to make fun. im sure all of you are perfect and never had a mind of your own

Lighten up Deb.
I shave my head, all over and have done so WAY before more women have started to do it. I’ve had occasional alopecia because of an immune disorder, and I know what chemo hair loss looks like.
This kind of ‘do, is none of that, and it’s POWM fair game. I know what being stylishly fearless about one’s choice in haircut is and I know what bad taste in one is too.
As do the spies of POWM.
But for this ridiculous haircut, the woman would look fierce.
It’s part of the culture of this site, that but for a stupid haircut, outrageously trashy clothing or inappropriate fit for one’s size or age, most people would look pretty good.
We know bad taste when we see it and what people have a choice in doing about it.

Back in the 80s we called it a “chelsea” and the idea was to shave your head without completely losing the effeminate wisps of hair around your face and neck. It only works on chicks cute enough to make ugly look good. It’s not fair to judge this woman, she’s got a good figure and there is not enough face to know anything, including what expression she has. She could be yawning, for instance.

Actually, the Chelsea is a style that began in the UK in the 60′s with the mods, and made a resurgence in the 80′s with the punk scene. Then, of course, some white supremacists started wearing their hair as such. Guess it only takes a few bad apples to spoil the bunch?

It’s NOT a hairstyle worn by white supremacists. It’s actually worn by proud members of the BLUE COLLAR, working class. I live in Minneapolis and proudly wore my chelsea for 2 years, with my boots and braces. I was a member of S.H.A.R.P (skinheads against racial predudice.) I t IS worn by SOME white supremacists, you can usually tell by the color of their boot laces whether or not they are racist. In the Uk, this is referred to as a Renee. It’s a Mod fashion, not punk. It is the same as a mod’s shaved head, but “softened” by a wispy fringe and edges. Try googling This is England girls and you’ll see a few of them with it.

It is called a fringe. A popular cut among the skinhead girlfriends/wives back in the 80s/90s. Some probably still wear it. The fact that this pic was taken in Idaho does not surprise me. Lots of skinheads still in Idaho, and Eastern Washington too, for that matter.

Sadly, i run into her at the walmart just down the road from my house all the time. If you think she looks bad here, you should see the rest of her family she is usually with. Makes me embarrassed to say i live in the same state let alone town as her
