If you look closely, there are at least 2 other wigs slung on her back, a long one in a net bag under her arm, for instance. The question then becomes, why is this woman carrying her wig collection? The answer might be simply that it’s a few of them she’s transporting to the hairdresser or trading/donating/selling/buying them. Back women often own a large collection of wigs and hair pieces, using them as daily accessories to change their look around along with purses, shoes, jewellery, etc.
