Remember
We at PoWM would like to take time to remember those lost in the horrific tragedy that occurred 11 years ago. Too many people have been impacted by one cowardly act. But we’d also like to encourage everyone to look at this guy and remember that in the USA we always pull ourselves back up and keep on kicking ass!

You at POWM should read the U.S. flag etiquette. It’s long but it clearly states that the flag or similar design should NEVER be worn as clothing among other things. You guys are too young to remember Stokely Carmichael arrested in Chicago for wearing the U.S. flag on his clothes.
Why is it okay for this white cracker to wear it?

Kicking ass, and being assholes, like this one. It’s a clear violation of the US Flag Code by using the flag as an article of clothing. There are flag motifs on both his tshirt and his shorts. It’s just as bad a violation as burning or stomping on the flag. Enjoy your freedoms, asshole!

Fȗck the ragheads
POLITELY explain to King Shĩt Head of Saudi Arabia… if it happens again, there is a missle on its way to mecca. Period.

He’s not wearing a flag, he’s wearing shorts with an image of the flag on it. Settle down. This guy’s alright.

Correction: It was the cold-blooded MURDER of 3,000 PEOPLE, from most every country in the world. The ONLY “tragedy” is that AMERICANS are continuing to pay the price for the actions of others.

I visited a local 9/11 memorial park,
and GOOMBAS had spray painted on the memorial plaques of the victims
I couldn’t believe it :-,
I don’t like American Flag clothing (it is totally disrespectful)
But the Guy has the right spirit and is forgiven..

I see nothing wrong with this other than it’s way over the top. I have many articles of clothing of a patriotic nature but I don’t wear them all at once.
September 12th, 2012
I was told it is wrong to make an article of clothing out of an ACTUAL flag. Clothing with an image of the flag on it is fine.

duh, per the flag etiquette guidelines, the only proper way to retire an american flagg that has become torn or unuseable is to have it burned.

@ Diamond Mair –
So right. A “tragedy” is something like an Earthquake. Or Flood. Cold blooded murder is NOT a “tragedy”. I CRINGE every time I hear those talking heads on the idiot box talk about it that way.
1) IT WEAS MURDER, folks.
2) IT WAS those peaceful folks from Islam.
3) Those same “peace lovers” had a coordinated attack on two of our embassies on the anniversary of 9/11
Wake up folks, it really is war.
I love and want peace. BUT how effective would it have been to stand singing kumbaya on theborders of… Austria, Czechoslovakia, Poland, France, Holland, Denmark… need I go on? Peace only happens when BOTH sides want it. The Islam-o-fascists want to destroy the west. Get it thru your heads people. To destroy YOU.

Wow! When I saw the pic, I thought “This guy is certainly full of patriotic spirit!” Then I read the “Flag Code naysayers” and I thought “Oh it does not say that!” and, rather indignantly went to prove them wrong and post it. So, to be fair, since I would have fired off a reply with an aura of superiority, I now most humbly bring you an excerpt from Flag Code found on senate.gov:
The Flag Code addresses the impropriety of using the flag as an article of personal adornment, a design on items of temporary use, and item of clothing…It should not be embroidered on such articles as cushions or
handkerchiefs and the like, printed or otherwise impressed on paper napkins or boxes or anything that is designed for temporary use and discard.
