Will You Marry Me?
I haven’t proposed to a lucky lady yet so I can’t say for sure, but I think it’s customary to wait more than 4 seconds after you buy the ring to put it on. That’s just an educated feeling I have, although to be fair if she said “no” then returning it would be pretty easy.

Reminds me of seeing a similar event at my local Walmart. I saw this 3 toothed greasy haired stud put a ring on layaway for his intended which also had 3 teeth and greasy hair. He put the ring on her finger and she says “It’th booodifull!! Oh I Nluv-v-v-v Nyuu”!!! with a big old sloopy kiss on the dude……. I went back the next week and asked the girls in jewelry if he had been back. He had been to take it off layaway and return it to stock!!! I thought that was priceless!!

my son’s wife was very pregnant and her wedding rings were too tight to wear, so they bought a bigger size ring at Walmart to wear, and he got down on one knee just to embarrass her as the clerk did not believe they were married. I am amazed our son is still alive.
