If I had to guess, I’d say this person was unhappy about* the ‘Nanny State’ taking away their smokes in the name of promoting good health.
Are they doing that? I’m not in the states, but I know here in the UK there are strict restrictions on the advertising of tobacco products but they haven’t actualy tried to ban them outright yet.
I guess in his ‘murrica you have the freedom to die of lung cancer, and anyone who suggests otherwise is a goddamn terrorist!
