on a side note about the ‘pop ups’– my pop up blocker IS working– but when you roll over to the left side, then it comes up. I’ve updated everything-and it still happens. No other pop ups, just a roll over.

First of all, so what? She has a tattoo. If that’s her personal choice and she has the “balls” to deal with the implications, more power to her. I think it’s a badly placed, ill-advised tattoo, myself, but I don’t have to wear it. She probably wouldn’t like mine either.
Yeah, a lot of rednecks here in the south brand themselves “rebels” and sport the flag. Are some racist? Yep. So are a lot of people in other regions flying the American flag and sending White House watermelon patch email forwards. So are a lot of posters on social networking sites.
I’m tiring of this site. The pictures are generally amusing, but the comments generally read like like a bunch of kids screaming “I’m better than you, loser!” at the fat kid. They rag this girl for wearing a bra and two tank tops (which from my visits to the mall seems fairly common) and call her ugly even though her face is concealed.

I know my history – and I have heard all the attempted justifications that are used. This is just one of many. Ask anyone what the result of the civil war was – it ended slavery. Plain and simple.
