A Quick Change
Reason #19 why I’m glad I’m not a parent yet: I freak out when I get bird shit on my car, I’m not sure what I’d do if I got human dookie on it.

She could’ve at least changed the baby in the back seat or something. Or hell, at least taken the child into the store. They have those baby changing stations in the bathroom. Geez.

Move along nothing to see here. As a parent, that ain’t nothing. I’ve caught my daughter’s vomit with my hands before.
January 21st, 2013
An unfortunate sight, yes, but the loss of dignity is still better than smelling that all the way home…
January 21st, 2013
Is it just me or does this kid look a little old to be wearing diapers ??
January 21st, 2013
Sometimes you gotta do what ya gotta do! And UNFORTUNATELY, the top of the trunk is sometimes cleaner than the Walmart bathroom!!! I’ve changed my child’s diaper IN the trunk before!!
January 21st, 2013
That’s a BIG kid to still be in diapers!
January 21st, 2013
Yes back seat would have been better. But what I see is that he or she is too big to be in pampers. They should have been potty trained,
January 21st, 2013
That kid is old enough to be potty trained!
If your kid is too big to change his diaper in the back seat then he is too big to be wearing diapers. Lazy ass parents.
January 21st, 2013
For the child’s sake, please do that in a washroom or inside the car! Why the hell would you demean your child like that?
January 21st, 2013
As a response to the person who wants this person to change her baby inside the store: Do you know that 80% of all the baby changing systems inside Walmart Bathrooms have some sort of Illegal Substance on it?
Do you really want to change your baby on that? I take the trunk of my car any day over that!
January 21st, 2013
The kid looks like he’s old enough to use the bathroom.
January 21st, 2013
@JAYDUBIII – It’s just you
Any parent knows this is no big deal. Yes, changing in the backseat would be better

For all those who are shitting all over the fact that the child looks to be to big to be in diapers:
1. I have a son from 6 months up looked twice his age due to the fact that he was a big boy, He looked like he was 3 at a year and a half. So that could be the case with this child.
2. There are pull ups that can be changed the same way a diaper is. There are pull ups that have the taps for parents to be able to take the pull up off easily.
3. That child could have a disability that slows development, which therefore would include potty training.
And for those shitting over the fact of her changing her child on the trunk:
1. Have any of you changed a child in the backseat?
Theres no room to change a child easily in a backseat. I have, and I had a van, and its still quite limited for space. Its not easy to change a toddler in limited space.
2. What if this mother has another child in the backseat?? What would be easier? Changing the one child on the back on the car, or take both kids back into Walmart??? I know, as a mother of 2 kids under that age of 5, it would be easier for me to have changed my child on the car than to take both my kids back into the store.
I’m all for PoW. I get a good laugh at most of the pics. But reading these comments for this mother, I felt I had to say something.
January 21st, 2013
Yes the back seat would have been better, but there might have been stuff on the seats. And anyone saying the child is too big…shut up. First, just because you think the child is too big to be dipers doesn’t been he’s actually old enough. Second, the child mind have some sort of hadicap. So just be thankful the mom didn’t use the floor, changing table in the Walmart bathroom, the middle of the aisle or just leave the child in the dirty, stinky diaper for you to smell while you shopped!
January 21st, 2013
As long as it’s warm who cares? Public bathrooms are nasty, I’d rather see her kid on the trunk than on the filthy baby table in the bathroom.
January 21st, 2013
Strange location, but definitely beats a ride home with a poopy diaper. Who knows, maybe there is something developmentally wrong with the kid?
January 21st, 2013
That kid looks old enough to use the bathroom!
January 21st, 2013
What’s the big? As to changing in the back seat… 1) Bending over so low isn’t so great for you back and 2) I’d rather wash any poop off the back of the car than try to scrub it off the interior. People are making a mountain out of a molehill.
January 21st, 2013
I would like to say that it was a little rude. Door wide open so no one can park. I would be really pissed if it was the only parking spot and be taken up by a door so some one can change their child.
January 21st, 2013
Give the kid’s dreaded diaper area a little privacy. After all he’s a human being. Being bare-assed in private is one thing. Being bare-assed in public is another.

ROLLING MY EYES … AT SPELLING AND GRAMMAR
January 21st, 2013
Not even sure why you poated this picture… As a mother I don’t find it bothersome that she took the time out to change her child’s diaper. You can generally tell the folks on here who aren’t parents by their stupid comments directed at the location of where the diaper change is taking place and also on the age of the child. My son started potty training at the age of 2, he didn’t become fully potty trained until a few months after his third birthday… So there was a need for him to wear pull ups, which another poster had mentioned. Those are similar to diapers and really the only way you can change them is by changing them like you would a diaper. He might just be big for his age, some kids are – again those who said he was too big for diapers probably don’t have children… so they wouldn’t know. The fact that she is changing her son on the trunk lid of her car – well, props to her because I’ve attempted to change my son in walmart before at one of the changing stations and after looking it over before putting him up there, I decided to walk our happy butts back outside to the car and change him there. Much cleaner. I’ve changed my son and baby girl in random locations before. Its not as though this woman was showing her child off. I don’t. As poster’s before this have stated, she could have had a full backseat.. whatever the case, as other’s have said – its better that she changes it there than leave her child sit in a mess on the way to their destination. I know there have been times where we have been out and about and our son pooped in his diaper – there was one place we were eating at that did not have changing stations and the parking lot was a hike.. So i laid my son down in the booth seat where we were sitting (he was against the wall not by where folks walk) and i changed him. Its not like anyone noticed, because they didn’t.. I didn’t make a big ordeal about it either. Sometimes.. if there are no other options, you do what you have to do or suffer through the smell. With all thhis being said – get a life folks, there is really nothing to see here or make fun of.
January 21st, 2013
When your a parent you change them anywhere you can. Nothing special here. Probably didnt do it in the back seat because they didnt want it to stink.
January 21st, 2013
What really bothers me about this is that you know she isn’t washing her hands afterwards. I see these trashy mothers all the time. They get used to being around the poop and pee, so they just abandon their own hygiene. Then they run around touching handrails, shopping carts, doors, etc., thereby exposing the rest of us to their filthy babies.
January 21st, 2013
Okay, here we go:
If the back seats are full, put whatever it is on the floor of the car and change the baby there on the seat. See, not so difficult, is it? Also, a parent should know enough to have baby wipes, extra diapers, clothes, etc in a car when taking the baby out and a cover for the back seat to change the baby on.
I agree 100% with Jet’s comments. I would never demean a child by exposing them naked in public.
January 21st, 2013
Nothing wrong AT ALL with this pic. I have 2 kids myself and there have been MANY times the change table is broken at dumpy wal-mart. Also I know that when you change your kids diaper in the back seat it really smells up the car! Finally to LEE M. : Have you heard of hand sanitizer? I carry that stuff in my diaper bag so if I do have to change a diaper while at the beach, camping etc. you just use that! If you’re gonna pick about “trashy mothers” who dont wash their hands well what happens with people who use outhouses? POW should really take this photo down!!!!

I’m just enjoying the indignant squalling from the Uptight Mommy Brigade.
January 21st, 2013
Heck ya that kids feet are bigger than mine! I won’t rag on it too much tho in case he is “special” but if he’s not, thats way to big to wear diapers, my grand daughter was potty trained at under 2 years old.
January 21st, 2013
I don’t even think 3 strolling violinist could help me right now…
January 21st, 2013
Teeny beat me to it. That kid’s feet are bigger than mine too!
January 21st, 2013
Anyway you look at it that woman is still fat.
January 21st, 2013
Looks old enough to be toilet trained already
January 22nd, 2013
Love that I wasn’t the only person who was like………. AND? Poopy butts are a dime a dozen as a mom and sometimes it just doesn’t compute that you’re on a trunk changing a butt. lol Better than the nasty walmart bathrooms!!!!!!!!
January 22nd, 2013
And this isn’t even her car.
January 22nd, 2013
Don’t forget to leave the dirty diaper in the parking lot
or better yet in a cart
January 22nd, 2013
Nothing wrong with that, just change it and fling it.
January 22nd, 2013
At least mom’s got her priorities right!!! I wouldn’t want that “crap” on my backseat–colon clearing catastrophe’s clean off much better on the outside of the car………
January 22nd, 2013
My son is seven. He is developmentally disabled and will probably be in diapers for a while. He stopped fitting on the damn changing tables years ago. I have a hatchback so that is the easiest place to change, and feed, him. It beats a smelly diaper on the way home or worse, a blowout and soaked carseat.
January 23rd, 2013
Its better then changing inside the store on a pile of clothes.
January 24th, 2013
“Do you know that 80% of all the baby changing systems inside Walmart Bathrooms have some sort of Illegal Substance on it?”
That made me think of someone snorting cocaine off the changing table.
January 25th, 2013
I say change them when they need changed. Just stop tossing the used diaper in the parking lot. I’ve seen those landmines many times. Shit that happens in the parking lot shouldn’t stay in the parking lot
January 29th, 2013
I work at walmart. I have seen a mom change a kid on the floor waiting in the checkout line. I see nothing wrong with this pic. Be glad shes not changing him in the buggy where ur food goes. I have seen that too.
January 29th, 2013
so many people commenting on issues they know nothing about- “just move items from the backseat to the floor and change the kid in there” oh sure, YOU take out a latch system carseat or 2 with a screaming toddler in one arm. untill your a parent, perhaps you shouldn’t comment. I know a bunch of people who said “I would never put my child through –insert pretentious idea here-” only to realize later that while we would all like the world to be an easy and perfect place to live in, its just not. Sometimes you have to change a childs diaper somewhere you wouldn’t want to. Sometimes you have to nurse in the middle of the mall. Sometimes, milk squirts everywhere and soaks your shirt, even though you already nursed, pumped and are wearing 2 nipple pads. My guess is the kid had a blowout, and when that happens, you have to change it wherever you are. Otherwise you get poo everywhere.
What *I* find disturbing about this picture is that someone actually took a picture of a kid getting their diaper changed.
February 1st, 2013
a wal-mart bathroom AND family bathroom is much cleaner then a Marathon gas station bathroom.
February 5th, 2013
I bet she threw the dirty diaper on the ground for some lucky soul to either roll over on step on.
Geez when we have to change our little girl outside we do it inside our SUV.
Allow your child to have some dignity folks.
