I really don’t see why anyone would hire someone like that. It is not a covered disability. I don’t see how they could do their job requirements. It just doesn’t make any sense (and, if she cried to the EEOC, I would think one photo would dispel any threats of a lawsuit).

I had a HS teacher, Mrs. Ward, that had nails like that. Best teacher EVER. Great lady who happened to like her nails long like that.
As far as this lady goes, doubt she does contacts but any woman (or man) that has long nails knows you use the side of your finger to put them in so it really doesn’t matter of they are one inch or eight inches.
HOWEVER unless she cleans and disinfects them bitches, like any finger going into your eye, the answer is hell-to-the-naw.

Professional standards when working with the public should be that your fingernails should be a reasonable standard length no longer than a quarter inch. Clean and well cared for.
The color of the polish, or any decorations on the nails are negotiable.
This isn’t like having jacked up teeth. Which can be very expensive to have fixed.
This is an easily and quickly renewable maintained body part.
These nails are scary and nasty looking, and most of all: UNNECESSARY. Also, they could break off inconveniently or injure someone or the person with those nails.
They look like they belong on an ANIMAL, not a professional woman in an office.
