Most likely North Carolina, We had our Scottish games this past weekend at Rural Hill, just north of Charlotte, NC

He’s going to a renfair or Highland games. Not that weird at all. Then again, when I go to the renfair or a Steampunk gathering, I just change there, so assholes at the gas station and Wally World don’t take creepshots of me and post them.
This man has a BIG
Dang, I love ren faire/SCA/festival costumes, but that feather is possibly taller than he is!

THE FUNNY THING ABOUT LYNN S OF STATEN ISLAND WAS THAT SHE WAS A PERNUKY PUSSIMULOUS FUSSY OLD CAT WHO OWNED A FILTHY MUTT WHO SMELLED BETTER THAN SHE DID.
HEY BOBBIANO LYNN S CUM
TUM DE DUM DUM DUM
That pic was in Mooresville, nc I’m pretty sure. It was for the highland games we had near by. I saw him and his wife dressed up in amazing garb for the event. My jaw dropped when I saw this pic! I was like omg I know him!!!!
This guy is probably a bagpiper that was playing the bagpipes at a firefighter or police officer funeral. If that is the case. Shame on you for making fun.
He should just wear a sign … YES I AM A FAGGOT
He on his way to the Highland Scottish Games. The Feather in his cap means he’s the local Chief of the Clan. His Tartan could tell you what Family (Clan) he’s in but I can’t see it clear enough to tell.
When his family loses him in the store, they just look for the feather sticking up.
He’s probably just going to one of those Scottish Fairs. We have a local one here.
If it’s not Scottish, IT’S CRAP!!!!
I have respect for any Scotsman proud enough to wear his plaid in public! Just wanna know what he is wearing under it (traditional or undies????).
This is a very good outfit for the Highland Games. He is obviously pretty dedicated because the kilt is the older version. (feileadh mor) The ghillie boots are a nice touch.
As a fellow kilt-wearer, I think he is well turned out. I get the same sort of stares when I go shopping.
Nothing to see here. Move along.
He’s obviously a member of a Scottish pipe band and stopped at the store on his way to or from a performance. I’ve done the same thing in my own band uniform-and the looks we get when half a dozen of us in our carpool all walk in together are absolutely priceless!!!
YANKEE DOODLE KEEP IT UP

My Scottish friend visited me in North Carolina – he wore his plaid and I loved it !!! Nothing wrong with this man wearing his.
@ Tony Dadon- I think it might be the Stewart Hunting plaid. You’re right – it is a little too far to be really sure. If he is the piper (leader) the tall feather is so the other soldiers can see him easily in the midst of battle.
Looks like there is another Me Here on this site posting that moronic Lynn S. crap to make it look like I’m posting it. Notice that they are using all caps. Lets see if this gets posted.
Let’s see…he’s clean, not grobese, and all his essentials are covered. No crack or tats showing, and no TP tails. Enjoy the view, because I’m sure something wicked this way cometh in the next photo…
Nothing to see here. Dressed for a highland gathering. And in good taste too!

As someone who lives in Scotland you can always tell a non-scot when you see one – they try to hard !
When worn properly the kilt looks perfect on any guy ! But please don’t over-accessorise – otherwise it will look too fake or like fancy dress – like this !!

As someone else who lives in Scotland, was born here, and who wears the kilt from time to time, I second Dana’s comment.
A piper (NOT “bagpiper”) does not dress anything like that, nor does anyone else here.

This is the Wal-Mart in Corinth, TX. He’s a common sight.

yeah, i’ve had to duck into wally world from time to time while in garb for a festival. you’d be able to tell his clan from the badge on his hat, but the resolution isn’t good enough

Looks like he’s pulling up his bagpipe app on his I phone.

Just remember, any dude with the stones to wear a full kilt to WalMart has probably got a two handed broadsword in his car and throws telephone poles around for a hobby (see “caber toss”). DEFINITELY in the Do Not Mess With catergory.

That’s just racist! Anyone can tell he’s Scottish if you’ve seen grounds keeper Willy.
STAND YOUR GROUND!
