Question: if furries–some of them, at least–think they’re animals, and animals have fewer rights than humans, do furries have the same rights as humans reading this?
Having a hard time using his paw to sign the receipt.

Hey Wile E.! Looking for the greatest from Acme at WallyWorld? Where’s the Road Runner?
Oooh, submitter sounds butthurt they don’t have a hobby they’re comfortable sharing with the world.
If I were to come back in the next life as a furry I think I would be a bi-polar bear.
He’s gone to Wal-Mart to scare up some tail.

Having a hobby and sharing it with the world does not equal being creepy as hell and sharing it with the world.
If anyone’s TAILhurt here it’s Baloo there.

Seriously, submitter doesn’t know what they’re talking about. Furries aren’t bad people, and you misunderstand their hobby. More power to this guy for making WalMart less mundane for a few minutes.

Outside The Norm
I love how butt-hurt supposed “furries” who live this lifestyle get when someone makes fun of them. You will find a lot of debate about what “fur-dom” actually is, but people who just dress up like animals or pretend to be animals are not furries. They are cos-players. Furries add a sexual component to the mix. THAT is why people are creeped out. And hey, even if the sex thing were not true…dude, this guy went out in public dressed as a giant costumed character. The ratio of folks who are going to be freaked by this to ones that are not is going to be heavily weighted in favor of those who think that animal costumes should stay at the conventions, at home, or at parties with other like-minded people. If you are part of an alternative culture, I am all for rocking it, no matter what it is, but understand that if society deems it “unacceptable” overall, people are going to laugh or lash out. Especially on a site meant for HUMOR. And to Heather: Chica, grow the hell up and understand that the world is not one big, rosy place where everyone accepts everyone else and every culture has no perversions.
