Got multitasking? Geez! Better watch out, some accidental titty milk spray could short circuit that credit card machine.

Nothing wrong with it. It’s a natural part of life, like childbirth.
dont like it dont look!
Breast feeding is natural breast feeding is beautiful..
I DON’T WANT TO SEE IT.. in line at the store.
Not a big deal, its natural.
There is nothing wrong with that at all. I am breastfeeding my 3rd baby right now, I am not as multitask-ed to walk around & do it but I do breastfeed out in public! More power to her!!!
I always like to read the comments for the “breast feeding in public mothers” photos to see all the woman (and some men) rant about how it’s so natural and so normal and how dare we make fun of a mother doing something so natural. Yeah, whipping your boob out at the check out counter is acceptable because you have a kid attached to it. I wouldn’t want my child to see this.
I see no issue with it. Breastfeeding is a natural process, and is not and should not be sexualized at all. The baby was hungry and had to eat. The only thing I would have done differently is covered up a bit so nothing was exposed.
Bare and Share
If you are going to bare it. Prepare to share it!!!
Being real for a second. We Americans are too uptight.
10 to 1 she has hairy ass armpits.
although breast feeding is a natural thing i still believe there is a place for everything. wal mart? absolutely not.
When your baby’s hungry, you feed it. That’s what breasts are for! They aren’t titties when you’re breastfeeding
I am all for breastfeeding in public. I did it myself. Many a time. It is her legal right to breastfeed in public. It is even her legal right to have her breast out in public if she is feeding her baby. However, would I have my breast exposed in public? Only if my nursing baby got out from under the nursing cover or if some other random thing happened. But if she wants to do so, she is well within her legal rights. So debate on everybody.
This is awesome!!! WTG Momma!!!
a baby has to eat too..thats why mothers breast feed, its convenient..i vote YAY!
tuff titty said the kiddy but the milk’s still good
Way to go mama! Our breast travel with us for a reason Breastmilk straight from the breast is more nutritiousness than pumped and stored milk. Openly breastfeeding normalizes it and encourages other mothers who are unsure of themselves. Great job mama! Latch-on!
can I have some
i say yay, titty in mouth, baby happy and quiet…
If you bare it, be prepared to share it!
Seriously folks, we Americans are way too uptight. That is just a mama feeding her baby.
I was thinking her beard was more disturbing that the nursing.
I know that some people say this is natural and all, but so is taking a crap and I can’t do that out in the open. Please do this in private…
Nothing wrong with this and anyone who thinks there is needs to be smacked. Perfectly natural to breastfeed a baby in public!
if the baby is hungry, feed it! other peoples opinions are unimportant.
Well, they usually do put “impulse items” in the checkout area.
hey I’d rather she did that then listen to it scream cuz its hungry. besides thats really what they are for
Ugh. Sorry, but no. She’s checking out…she couldn’t have at least waited to get in the car?
If she was sitting down to nurse, yeah, whatever… But wtf is she doing at the checkout line?! *smh*
I love this pic! BTW, in Europe, people actually smile and nod at you in public. Only NA’s have a problem with BFing in public. Thank you for posting such a wonderful, caring, mom on this site. Better than most of the gross offensive photos here.
Are we sure this isn’t a man? That’s a pretty good beard she has going on.
GOOD FOR THIS MOM YOU ARE A A$$ FOR TAKING THIS PIC….
Awesome for her! Breastfeeding is the natural and always-ready way to feed a baby and is so much better for a baby than artificial milk options. I have nursed all 5 of my babies and am proud to have done so whenever and where-ever I have needed to do so and still get things accomplished!
Brood sow has no manners
POWM, you guys make me sick posting pictures of mothers breastfeeding. Shame on you for making fun of a woman feeding her baby. People like you are the reason why this world has no problem seeing a breast in a sexual manner, but then has a problem when breasts are used for what they were made for. Pure ignorance is what you are displaying here. Ignorance.
Personally I have no issue with public nursing-taking your lunch in the bathroom to eat sucks even for a baby. If nothing else, this is easier on the eyes than a solid 70% of the rest of the shoppers.
YAY! I love seeing other mama’s confident enough to feed their little nurslings in public. Shame on all of you for thinking this should even be on here.
i don’t see anything wrong with this! i have breastfeed 3 kids, and i did it crazier places than this. this is not a funny picture whatso ever, its a normal picture. the woman is dressed nicely, and is feeding a very young infant. i find this boring, it is like looking at a picture of a baby with a bottle, just a fact of life, babies eat.
you know to make that baby and the milk in her breast is natural as natural as having the sex to get her pregant to be able to breastfeed but just like seeing a womans boob out at a store i dont want to see it. yes she has the right but there is a bathroom where she can do that at. it is my right not to have to walk in a store and the first thing i see is a boob with a kid hanging on it. yes natural but there is a time and place and yes when a child gets hungry you need to feed it but not in the check out line.
I think its fine, I think instead of shopping however, she should go have a seat at one of the benches until the baby is done feeding. And perhaps carry a small receiving blanket just to lay over the top of the boob as clearly from some of these comments people are gong to be offended. I dont understand why, since most of the teenagers I see today have on less clothes than this woman, and shes feeding her child, but unfortunately thats the view of most of our country these days.
It’s awesome that she’s talented enough to be able to breast feed like that. Nothing wrong with breast feeding in walmart. What would you rather her do, have her kid go hungry?
To those who said “Taking a crap is natural too but I don’t want you to do it around me” – are you seriously that stupid? Taking a shit in public stinks and it spread disease and someone else has to clean up after you. Breastfeeding in public doesn’t bother anyone who isn’t making it their business by staring. In fact, she is doing you a favor by feeding the kid so it’s not screaming like a banshee because it’s hungry.
And yes, Dear God, don’t let your bratty little kids see a woman taking proper care of her baby.
what gets me about ppl who disapprove is that breastfeeding is free and the baby needs to eat when it needs to eat but all you breastfeeding in public haters would be mad as hell if she was in the wic or welfare line wanting formula since taxpayers have to pay for it so just be quiet
I understand breastfeeding is natural. but so is pissing you dont see me whipping it out in the middle of the store. there is a time and place for all. me i could care less what your doing. but if you going to be in public you also deal with the public.
The whole “breast feeding in public” thing is always a big controversy. It always will be I think.
But my thoughts on the matter are this: Yes its natural. Yes a woman shouldn’t be ashamed to breast feed their child at home or in public. HOWEVER, cover that shit up. I’m a mom myself and understand its natural. But in public places like that you’ve got weirdos & psychopaths, and just plain perverts. You’ve got children who don’t understand and will be asking questions. You’ve got little boys who are just discovering that side of themselves who shouldn’t be watching.
As a mother I think, breast feeding should be allowed in public so long as you’re covered up completely and no one, male female adult child whatever, has to see that shit.
There are many natural things for which our bodies are used, but that doesn’t make it appropriate to do them all in public. Had this woman been sitting on a bench in Wal-Mart with some modesty while the child fed, that would be different. But this? This is not only rude to others around, it makes light of one of the purposes of breastfeeding: nuturing the child. You can pump breast milk and feed it to your kids for the nutritional value. Using the actual breast is important for bonding and other non-tangible but vital components of the relationship between mother and child. This mother clearly shouts her disdain for nurturing the little one – it is obviously only a convenience/utility function for her. How sad.
this is the only real reason why we have breast, if the kid is hungry feed it it’s fine you dont like it dont look as for me… im ganna stare lol
I can’t stand people talking on their cell phone in line and paying the cashier. Breastfeeding is a no no as well. Take the time to go sit somewhere so your baby can eat and not be moved all around as you try to get our your wallet and grab your bags etc. etc. I am all for multi-tasking, but this is just too much. Your baby deserves your attention. The stores are open long hours. You won’t miss out buying your items if you just take an extra minute.
So it’s okay if I take a piss at the register?
To paraphrase what a lot of folks are saying… “Breastfeeding is natural, just like childbirth” I agree, it is. the thing is, I don’t want to see that at the store EITHER!
Just because it’s “natural” doesn’t mean it’s acceptable. Taking a dump is natural, do it in a store in plain view of people and see where that gets ya.
Then again, there are pics of people on this site that look like they have done just that…
Hmmm, I guess, never mind then, carry on.
I have no problem with mothers who breast feed. I did it with both my kids but have consideration for others and COVER UP!!!! People really don’t want to have to be exposed to a child sucking on your breast with all the noise that goes with it. If my opinion offends you then you are just being plain inconsiderate. What will y’all do next, walk around naked just because you want to and don’t feel you need to follow rules?? Just saying.
a) This woman’s FIRST obligation is to her child, and she is honoring this to the utmost. It is not to the close-minded people who believe that breasts are solely sexual.
b) She is being respectful and courteous to those around her who do not have to listen to her child scream. It’s much easier to avert one’s eyes to avoid an *undesirable* sight (not that I find it that way, but, clearly, many do) than to plug ones ears to drown out a deafening sound.
c) The child is EATING, not DEFECATING, CLINT!! There is a big difference to most of us. Maybe you weren’t brought up to eat in a different place from where you poop.
d) Have you ever tried to get stuff done with a newborn? Or, even MORE complicated, with an infant and one or more other children? It’s a task and a half. For her to have to stop what she’s doing (after probably waiting in line for 15 minutes at the understaffed checkouts at Walmart: can I get an AMEN?) nurse her child for upwards of 20 minutes (per side, maybe) and watch her other children in Walmart is unrealistic for anyone to even suggest. Being a GOOD mom is BUSY and NOT SIMPLE, and this mother is doing what’s best for herself and her child. Shame on others for trying to shame her and other moms into thinking that they need to hide in a corner to eat. “NOBODY puts baby in the corner!” Especially to nurse! She isn’t NEGLECTING her child. Maybe the judgmental idiots of North America should focus their anger and disgust for the people feeding their kids McDonald’s and chemicals on a regular basis, or not feeding them at all!
e) She has as much right to breastfeed in public as others have to their ridiculous, antiquated opinions about breastfeeding in private.
I find it way more disturbing that someone is taking a picture of a nursing mom than the fact that she is nursing.
Look at it this way. There really is not a law written that says women have to cover their breast in the first place. We see everything anyway the way some women dress so what makes the difference
Babies need to eat every few hours. That means that a normal mother will ultimately have to feed her baby in public sometimes. While I would normally think that someone breast feeding in public would want to throw a cover over themselves for privacy (like that hoodie in her cart) I think that’s ultimately up to her.
Personally, I would rather feed the baby in the check out line than deal with him/her crying/screaming until I was finished, got out to the car, put the groceries away. Besides, the baby is attached to her nipple, it’s not like you can see anything that you cant see from a revealing tank top.
If you don’t want to see it, don’t look. If you don’t want your kids to see it, then you’re missing out on a conversation about biology your kids should really learn.
peeing and pooping is a natural part of life too.. should we all just do that at the check out counter too?? …..I commend those who breast feed but please cover up some for those who are uncomfortable with it … time and place people for everything and in the check out line is not it.
I think its funny when people make comments about breastfeeding in public. Are we so far advanced that we assume that there was never a time without bottles and formula. where do you think babies got their food from before them? I highly doubt women in the 1800′s stopped everything they were doing to go hide in a corner and feed their child.. a breast is there for one reason and one reason only, same as a cows breast or cat or dog for that matter, its for feeding a baby… only difference is.. humans can not get their minds out of the gutter and see it as anything but perverted!!!
What a sad world it is where people find breastfeeding in public offensive. Am absolutely amazed at some of the comments on here.
No one objects to breast feeding, nor WHEN an infant needs to be breast fed!!!
The problem is women who have NO MODESTY or respect for themselves and their infant’s PRIVACY!!!
It IS indecent exposure. Just because a baby is on the nipple, doesn’t mean that isn’t what it is.
You can use a very lightweight cover and keep it handy for anytime anywhere you have to nurse your baby.
If you do it from the beginning, the baby gets used to it, and won’t fight it as it gets older.
Because as stated, there ARE pervs, there ARE people who wouldn’t respect or understand such a lack of propriety.
This is what separates us from ANIMALS. Having a sense of privacy and discretion for both baby and mommy’s sake.
So if it’s SUCH a beautiful, natural thing…have the damn sense to PROTECT your beautiful and natural things!!!!
Seriously?! Is this really on People of Walmart? Must have been a slow day at the Walmarts across the land. The woman is BREASTFEEDING. That’s much better than those nasty chemicals in FORMULA. I’d rather see a mom breastfeeding right next to me than have to smell those nasty formula bottles from across the store. Oh and for those saying she shouldn’t be there – it’s legal, just so you know.
Absolutely disgusting thing to do in public. It drives me insane when I see women throw what they think is there right out in public in peoples faces. Children do not need to see that. Women like this really make me sick. Take care of that at home before you leave or pump and being that with you. Don’t pop your boob out for the world to see.
So is urination, but I don’t want to see it at the check-out.
Pissin and $h!TT!ng are also natural…Doesn’t mean you are gonna drop trou and do it in a bucket in the middle of a isle @ Walmart. Put a blanket over yourself.
Kristen have a problem with breast feeding. I attempted to breast feed my kids. If I had to breastfeed in public, I went to a dressing room wanting to spare other shoppers from seeing me nurse my child. That was my choice. Apparently this woman isn’t afraid to let public see her breastfeed her child. More power to her. Nothing much to see, moving on.
So let me get this right, yall would rather hear a desperate pitiful cry from a baby who is hungry than see a human nourishing a child? We are the only country who is so fixated on a breast being sexual. They were means of nourishment before they were sex toys! Exposing your bottom half to relieve one’s self is another story and it’s against the law for numerous reasons!! OK folks most of the people reading this were probably breastfed! I nursed both of my children in private and in public. I choose to use a nursing cover, my choice. She has a right to nurse her baby when/where and how she wants. All walmarts also offer the use of their fitting rooms to provide a safe and quiet place to nurse. Thinking a bathroom is a good place to feed your kid? Ok jerks next time your hungry go eat your whopper in the bathroom and see how you like it!! *end rant*
For those that say take baby to restroom and feed it, would you eat in a restroom? I wouldn’t . Be my guest
lol people of walmart? really? this is people of the world! there is nothing wrong with feeding your baby!!! This is me not only at walmart but michaels, the mac store, starbucks, everywhere i gomy baby goes and if he needs to eat, he eats! go mama!!!
Dont like it, dont like… this is her right to feed her baby. I dont want to see nasty people in the store nor do I want my kids to see that, but its their legal right to be inside of walmart. Breastfeeding is natural.
Good Lawd people!! Its just a tit with a baby sucking on the nipple.. No biggie! Totally au naturelle!! Just like cats and dogs feed there babies.
When a child is hungry you feed him or her.
THIS needs to happen MORE not less. it needs to become and stay normalized.
For those who say, there is a time and a place for everything, you are right.
When your baby is hungry…that is the time and the place to feed your baby. There is NO OTHER time and place to do it. You don’t wait 20 minutes until you are done checking out after you have been in line for 10 minutes already. You don’t get out of line so as to not inconvenience someone else’s eyeballs. You feed your baby…because your baby is hungry. Here…..and now….. And if you have a kid ask you what that lady is doing…tell them…”she is feeding her baby. What a good mommy she is taking such good care of her baby.” Seriously, it does not have to be a big deal and if you have issues with this, then those issues are ALL YOURS. If you teach your child that this is a disgusting or sexual thing, that is what YOU are TEACHING them. It is your choice how you handle it. Personally, I would point it out to my kids and say “look at that mommy feeding that cute little baby” Get a grip people, get over it!
It is natural…as NATURAL as going to the bathroom, as natural as taking a shower, as natural as vomiting, as natural as having sex, therefore, do it where it belongs, in your home or in private.
OK, so nursing your baby is natural, and women say it’s ok to do it in public. Urinating is also very natural, as is defacating. You want someone to do it at the checkout at Wal-Mart? I THOUGHT not!! Just because it’s “natural”, that doesn’t make it right!!
i breastfeed all 5 of my kids and that includes in public. However i felt that because my child needed my attention I gave them the time…and I would sit down and give them the time….carrying around the kid and jostling them around to fit into YOUR schedule is unfair and unhealthy for the baby. they feel your stress and are only trying to eat. MOMS you need to give yourself and the baby the attention you both deserve and just sit down and relax and feed the baby. It is the best way for both of you. Walmart has benches so dont try to say they dont. go to the furniture section and try out a recliner if you must…but treat the baby you feed as you would want to be treated. this is not about feeding in public…this is about making your baby your number one priority!
While breastfeeding is a natural thing, and, of course, healthy for the baby and momma.. I never BOTTLE FED my baby in the f’ing line at Wally World. Decency people, look it up.
I have to add, even tho I said what I said, this thuff doesn’t bother me ! I wish all things in life was as simple as feeding a baby !
Desirai Since its so natural Next time you go to have a baby please drive to walmart instead of the hospital and have that thing in the checkout line.
Against pulling it out in public. I breast fed my son for 9 months. NEVER once did I have to expose my body in public. First I always PLANNED my shopping, etc around his feeding and nap. So I also never had a crying baby in a store or restaurant. I worked fulltime and he was at work with me and again NOBODY ever saw my breasts. That’s what receiving blankets are for…..covering up! Duh!! Of course the biggest difference is that I did this in 1985 when mothers still had brains and weren’t exhibitionists.
Wow, this mom is a superhero. If you can manage to nurse a baby, while unloading a cart and bagging your own groceries and paying for your stuff, you are a superhero. I love this!
Wish I could give this mom a sling and free up her arms!
Pooping is natural too, doesn’t mean you do it in front of everyone.
Not this debate again…
My 2 cents: Leave her alone. It would be less offensive to the haters if she covered up a bit though.
Breastfeeding is natural and beautiful but I don’t want to see someone else doing it. I breastfed two of my children and I never once was indecent in public!
Slop Jar Magoo
Tough titties said the kiddies……..but the milk’s still good
I nursed two children, and throughout the process you NEVER saw as much of me as a side-view shows of this woman. There are lightweight receiving blankets that do a great job of providing modesty without smothering the baby.
For those who say “but it’s natural”… there are lots of things that are natural and don’t belong in a public space. For instance, cats are natural but you won’t see one in a store. Crying is natural, but everyone will stare at or be disgusted by someone with a snotty nose blubbering away in an aisle. Heck, plumber’s butt is perfectly natural but it’ll end up on this site at every opportunity!
In our culture all bodily functions (ALL, including lactation) are considered vulgar and to be hidden; sorry if you don’t like it, but it’s true. There are too many other options out there, from expressing milk to wearing nursing clothing to simply tossing a blanket over the shoulder; there’s no need to flash the store because you’re too lazy or self-involved to care about those around you.
‘Not a big deal, its natural.’
So is taking a shit, you don’t see me doing that in a walmart checkout.
Takin a crap is natural too lmao do u wanna see me do it at the register?
I appreciate that she is taking care of her chid and doesn’t want them crying their head off, yes it’s natural blah blah, but all I ask is cover it up a little bit. I think in general it’s a little weird, go on pump whatever, but just pt a light blanket over it, you feed your baby and no one else will even no, win-win!
Jerking off is natural too. Can we do that in front of everyone now too?;)
Sex is a “natural and beautiful” thing, too, but would you do that in the middle of walmart? Show a little respect for yourself and the ppl around you and cover that shit up.
After reading about New York women being given the right to go around topless in public, I would say this ain’t anything to bother with. Move along…
This has nothing to do with being natural. It is a woman’s legal right to breastfeed in public. It is not legal to defecate in public. For those who are so offended, do not travel outside of the US, because you may see topless women *gasp*. Also, cover your head or stay home, it’s your legal right to do so.
Look at her gut, that an udder not a tittie
It’s awesome when people nurse on demand! I feed my son when he’s hungry–period. People who can’t understand that need to get their priorities straight.
How do you people, who are voting negative, know she ‘started’ feeding her baby in the checkout line?? Perhaps she was in an isle when the baby got hungry and she decided to do the most natural thing in the world, feed her!
It’s no different than if she were a mother that bottle fed her baby, she’d pull out a bottle and feed it. The problem you snobs have is this mother is being crucified because she’s feeding her baby the ‘natural’ way instead of bottle feeding her baby.
Oh I forgot, this mother should inconvenience her God given right to feed her baby, by covering up with a lightweight blanket so as not to offend anyone else. Good for her for thinking of her baby and not giving a darn what anyone else thinks! I wonder how we every made it out of the stone age??
Would you rather……….see a tit or listen to a kid scream and cry because its hungry …not a hard desision
I don’t get what’s wrong??? Somebody please help me. Looks normal considering the outrageous stuff we see at the POW.
If your baby is hungry, feed her. I breastfeed in public, without a cover, all the time. YOU don’t like it, YOU look away. Simple.
May 23rd, 2013
I would say cover it up. I am all for breastfeeding in public but put something over your body. I understand it is natural and so is child birth, but there is a reason why people don’t have deliver in walmart or any other public setting.
Breast feeding is supposed to be a healthy thing and a bonding process for mother and baby. I see nothing healthy or bonding about this. What I see is her waiting for someone to say something so she can sue for stepping on her rights.
if nothing else it guarantees muslim men wont be shopping in that walmart as they cannot glimpse a strangers ladybits.
I used to do this all the time in the store. I didn’t have a blanket draped over me. But The way I had my pants and my shirt pulled down it was not noticeable! It just looked like I was carrying my baby.
Tazie – I would NOT breastfeed my child in a BATHROOM! That is disgusting. When your boobs start to leak in public, you gotta feed your baby. Yeah, she should have sat down on a bench or went to the car!
Going to bathroom is natural and sometimes has to be done immediately yet most normal people don’t take a crap in line at the register.
“Short out” the EBT machine you mean
Unless you come from a culture where nursing publicly is normal, and there are some, you are just showing off and deserve all the scorn. It is not accepted in this country. Agree with Tonya above, I never had a problem nursing anywhere, a simple light blanket or even a cloth diaper, or ANYTHING cloth, is all you need to nurse and be private.
Seriously, to the people comparing breastfeeding to jerking off or taking a crap, are you freaking kidding me? I prefer to cover up a little bit, but when a baby is hungry and needs to eat, that’s priority. This is the lamest “people of walmart” photo I’ve ever seen. In many cultures, no one would bat an eye. I wish ours was more like that.
I think it’s interesting that so many people are saying how important it is that the baby eats AT THAT VERY MOMENT. How many women do you see doing that at the cash register? Not many. And look! We all still turned out okay. Go figure.
To the morons who say the kid has to eat AT THAT VERY MOMENT, all I say to you is that no, no they don’t. Damn, I used to take my baby with me shopping all the time, without the mother! It’s incredible, I used these things called bottles to feed the kid! Amazing!
Taking a shit is perfectly natural just like breast feeding. But that doesn’t mean one should be shitting in a public place.
Women, you need to understand only you think the child is special. You popped it out of your pussy, but that dosn’t give you special rights. It’s gross to everyone but you.
May 24th, 2013
I have no problem with women breastfeeding in public, but if they feel the need to be exhibitionistic about it, people are going to criticize. Deal with it. Not everyone wants to see a big ol’ veiny boob hanging out. If you’re in public, *ideally* you have consideration for those around you. But then again, this is Walmart, so I guess that gets thrown out the window.
Fuckin breeders, pumping out the rug rats for more food stamps and welfare $$
Perfectly acceptable IF – you have nice , high boobs that people want to look at
If we didn’t live in such a perverted society, I’d say yay. But since we do, discretion is advised. I used to drape a cloth diaper over most of my breast while breast feeding in public. But then I’d get a baby lover that would walk up to pinch her cheek and then freak out and run away when they saw BOOB! LOL.
Totally useless creatures.
Yes it’s a natural thing to breast feed and so is taking a crap but if someone was dropping a duce in the check out isle, I’m pretty sure they’d be arrested! I know it’s not the same as breastfeeding but show some damn class and bottle it up for trips to the store or go someplace more private in the store. You know when your baby should be hungry again, shop around that time or stay home! Only lazy ass pigs breast feed in public! Educated, NORMAL people bottle it up or cover it up!
May 25th, 2013
Seeing these comments, it’s now obvious this website is almost entirely viewed by middle-aged women whose only friends are small animals (likely yippy dogs).
The next time I have to piss, I’m going to piss in a bottle in the middle of Wal-Mart. It’s natural right? And don’t forget, urine is sterile and hence perfectly safe.
Feed your baby before you go in the store or feed it after. There’s no excuse.
Really are we still asking this question!!! would you rather hear a screaming hungry baby or see a little bit of skin from someones boob??? my god!!!
Better than shoving a juice box in the kid’s mouth like the other moms.
Snacks on the go nothing wrong with it…….
I have done this many times and happy to say in my state it is my right to breast feed my child in public rather you like it or not. Not only that, the people making a fuss saying she has no modesty or class that peeing or pooping is natural too. Do you have something better to do then moan about a woman who is will in her rights to breast feed in public cover or uncover? I mean seriously, if you going get hop up about her nursing then I would happy to hand you my blanket to cover your heads and push you into the bathroom to avoid seeing it. Not only that, try peeing or pooping in public, I will sit back and laugh my little tail as you get arrested then fine. Peeing and pooping is toxic to the public, it cause more harm and spread diseases to other people. Breast milk doesn’t do that, it’s natural, not toxic, and the comment of covering the baby early so they don’t fight the blanket, doesn’t work that way. I try the cover, she thrash around, screamed, cried, and I couldn’t see where to latch her so forget that and not only that she got very hot under there. Not every woman can pump nor feeding your baby before going out in public is going help either since they feed 24/7 if you had a baby you should know that they don’t wait like us adults can to eat. It’s nor or hear their pitch screaming cries like someone pinch the crap out of them. It’s really sad how our generation got so snotty about women who are only doing what nature tended for them to do that was to feed our young.
May 26th, 2013
Wow, lots of self-centered women out there these days. No class, no couth. Somebody classy would at least use a little cover or something.
Hey girls, use your brain and cover up. It’s called respect and consideration for others.
(all you above are talking about peeing and pooping in public) the day u eat a shit sandwich order a tall glass of piss eat with your face under a blanket or smother your child by making them do so and eat lunch in the shitter or sit out in a hot car with all your family because youre afraid of offending someone with doing the best thing for your child is also the day all your arguments will become valid
May 27th, 2013
If she was holding a bottle, no comment. Feed your baby naturally and don’t feed the ConAgra artificial breast milk machine, and OMG you’re a creature of Walmart!! How dare she be a good parent!?
I’ve always been amused at how the tit sucking pictures will bring the whole family to the table…
Well, considering there are laws to protect breastfeeding mothers, I find this picture to be in VERY poor taste. I breastfeed my child when she’s hungry, and I don’t care where it is. I guess she should have to take her child to the bathroom to eat, because that’s where you eat when no one wants to see you chow down, right?

There is absolutely nothing wrong with what this mama is doing. She has a legal right to breast feed in public. Her child was hungry, and she fed him. Nothing else to it. It is not sexual and if you don’t like seeing it, don’t look.

Way to go mama! People have a problem with this, shouldn’t look or just ignore it! It only draws attention if you GIVE it attention! I’m sorry but if my baby is hungry I could care less who sees or what they think about. My child comes first…that is their source of nutrition. Get over it. I will not hide and do it in private…Its my breast doing what breasts are there for! They aren’t DECORATION! They serve a purpose, and feeding your baby is that purpose.
Yeah she definitely should have just let her baby be hungry and scream through check out, ya know to make everyone else happy. What kind of sicko takes a picture of a stranger feeding her baby anyways?
i wish I could send her a sling. Hands free public breastfeeding. I never covered and have nursed two babies until 2…publicly. deal with it people. If I were trading for plastic beads it would be all good. god forbid I use them for what they were intended.
Some of the comments are disturbing to me. First that there is a website dedicated to people who might venture into a Walmart in a effort to stir up ridiculous controversy and allow people to place judgment on others. Second that some idiotic jack ass took a picture of a woman breast feeding her infant at the checkout. Third that there are some morons out there comparing breast feeding to using the potty. We wonder why people hate Americans, probably because we have so much fucking time in our hands spreading ignorance and hate. This country and its citizens are a joke! So go consume your gmos, get vaxxed, roll in chemicals daily, and get your diagnosis of cancer or diabetes whichever comes first. I am going to feed my baby wherever, whenever, and however the fuck I want!

Seriously?! The people who compare Nursing in public to defecating in public are about as ignorant as they come! I am a nursing mother of an almost 11month old and if he is hungry and I’m at Wal-Mart you better believe I’m going to feed him when and where he wants to be fed. Way to go, mama!
One of the last times I was at Fry’s grocery I was walking up and down that store with my one year old sitting in the cart and yes I was breast feeding. Problem with that no not at all. However there is a problem with those of you who think breast feeding mothers should alter the way they feed their children because it makes you uncomfortable. To those of you with a problem grow up!
The ability to nurse absolutely anywhere does NOT mean whipping out your tits at the register. There are much more discreet ways to do this, whether it be a different top or just a BLANKET over yourself to be decent. I would cover my children’s eyes from seeing this, and yes, I breastfed them both. Natural, yes, but not for public viewing. Have some class.

There’s not so many chairs (ie there are NO chairs…)at my local Walmart, nor are there benches outside or parks within walking distance. A baby cries when the baby wants milk and won’t just be like, “hey that’s cool, I’ll wait ’til you’re done shopping”, so if there’s no where to sit, I am NOT going to stand in the corner of the restroom and breastfeed; I’d rather walk around and get my shopping done WHILE breastfeeding. I guess its a matter of opinion, but it’s legal for women to walk around topless where I live breastfeeding or not, so a person’s opinion here doesn’t make a difference. HOWEVER, it would have been nice if the woman had AT LEAST used a receiving blanket to cover her shoulder and breast. That’s what I do in this situation, out of respect for others.

I totally agree that the check out line is not the place to breast feed. but, she probably had to stand in line for 45 minuets if her wal-mart is anything like my wal-mart, so its hard to blame her for not starving her child for 45 minuets. otherwise, find a bench or wait to go to your car. masturbating is a normal thing too, but would you just smile and avert your eyes if a special needs kid whipped it out in lane 4 and started wanking it? he has needs just like that baby, but like all things there is a time and a place and juggling a baby while trying to swipe your visa is not one of them.

Not in public EVER do it in private we don’t need to see it, yes we know it’s needed but not in public. The whole “it’s natural” argument is a fail well masturbating is natural too is it OK to do it in public!? NO and never will be. Society is falling and when the country is a shithole you people who say this and weed and sll the other crap were good and should be “legal” will have no one else to blame.

you go mamma you feed your baby when she needs it..anytime anywhere.love ppl that are not scared to feed their baby anywhere.
July 11th, 2013
taking a shit is natural too, but i dont think people should do it in line at walmart while checking out.

She’s feeding her child and not showing anything inappropriate. Compared to most of the pictures you feature, this is G rated!

Yes, it is natural. I breastfed both my children and I did so in many public places. HOWEVER, one does need to have a little but of decorum. Not everyone wants to see that. In fact I’m not really sure that anyone wants to see that out in public. Please – people need to learn how to be discreet when partaking in things that are natural. It’s not that hard to do!
Peeing and crapping is normal too, no one does that at the checkout line. Besides looks like a dog with a puppy attached.
If it’s “natural” to show your boobs in public then it’s “natural” to breastfeed in public. The last time I checked, it was socially UNacceptable to show your boobs in public and there fore is breastfeeding. Unless you are at wal-mart, which the company has NO dress code at ALL! Sorry but you may be a mother but use a bottle or for god sakes use a blanket to cover up!

@Steph, couldn’t agree more. Its unacceptable. Don’t care if you’re a mother or not. If I can’t walk around with my D*** hanging out, this girl shouldn’t be walking about with her tits flopping everywhere, and potentially spraying someone in the face. Which, I would totally press charges on her for that battery with a bodily fluid charge the sperm tosser in later posts got…

TURBO only difference is you having your thing hanging out is sexual, the woman was just feeding her baby, if you want your d*ck hanging out, keep it in front of your computer screen. And for those saying, she could have gone to the bathroom to do it, for one ew gross, you would want to eat in the bathroom? And she can’t just drop everything and leave her cart there just to nurse somewhere else or let the baby scream so she can’t hear the cashier or the cashier can’t concentrate enough to do her job. Would rather see this than listen to a screaming baby and sometimes you have to do what nature calls for.

GODALMIGHTY, check some of the other photos here, some do it anyway lol
“Society is falling and when the country is a shithole you people who say this and weed and sll the other crap were good and should be “legal” will have no one else to blame..” BIFF what does any of that have to do with a mother breast feeding her baby, agree that she only did what she had to do, who wants to listen to a screaming baby, I would rather see this than hear that. And realistically she couldn’t just drop everything and leave her cart just to breast feed somewhere else, it’s a natural part of life, get over it guys.
This is one of the things that I love. Since breastfeeding is NOTHING like defecating or urinating, it is actually protected by law to not be considered indecent exposure as breasts are not considered reproductive organs. I give this mom a high five.
