I’m kinda torn here. Part of me wants to yell at this parent but the other part of me realizes that as men we have the golden gift of peeing anywhere we want and he is just learning to master his tool early. Your thoughts? I can judge ’cause Lord knows I’ve pissed in weirder public places.

Au contraire mon amie. You can’t take a piss anywhere you want. It’s called “exposing yourself” and there are places it’s a felony.

It’s better than the mom I saw who basically opened her car door, got her son out of his car seat, and whipped his pants down right there and had him pee in the parking lot. I’m sure the next person to park in that spot really appreciated that puddle.

As a mom of 2 boys and 1 girl I see nothing wrong with what she is doing! If he wouldnt have done it there he most likely would not have made it into somewhere to use the facilities and he most likely would have peed on himself.

It’s nasty and not something you should teach a child. If he had a daughter who wanted to go would he have had her squat there? I’ve had neighbor’s little boys come over to play with my little girls and when they had to pee they just whipped it out and watered my trees and bushes. I
have a toliet. They could of asked to use my bathroom. It’s a nasty habbit! Also urine can kill the lawn & vegetation, it smells and I prefer not to watch someone pee. That’s something that should be done in private except for emergencies. Way to go dad!

I’ve got three boys aged 8 and under and let me tell you, sometimes in an emergency situation you just gotta let ‘em water a tree…I didn’t understand until I had boys of my own. Not only do they not think ahead of time about having to go, they actually think it’s RAD to pee outside. Ah, boys. Gotta love ‘em.

I’ve not been to all that many Walmarts, but the ones I’ve been to all had two sets of bathrooms (at the front of the store, and at the back). If it was really urgent I guess no choice, but one needs to train children to live in the advanced civilization they were born into.

PATHETIC! What kind of parenting is that!? Such sad times we live in. I feel sorry for that kid. No child should have to be exposed in a public place. Where is that parents pride & decency – at least for the childs sake! Furthermore, what kind of parent would want people looking at their exposed child???

I think it’s okay judging by his size I would say he is likely just learning to use the potty and he likely would not have made it into the store so rather than dealing with wet pants she had him pee on a bush and I say this as a mother of a son who had to let him whiz on the side of the interstate because he waited until we past the last exist for 10 miles to tell me he had to “pee now!!”

This is a small child, I would let it slide. They are away from any congested parking area. The child is peeing on mulch and not grass. It is not like the kid is pooping or is at or beyond puberty and exposing adult-like private parts.

Maybe I’m hallucinating, but is there another child in the shopping cart behind the mom? You know, the one that no one’s paying any attention to? Peeing in the bush is one thing, but blatantly ignoring your kid while he’s standing up in a shopping cart is retarded.

I can’t believe how some people think this is ok. I understand emergencies arise but instead of rushing the child inside to the bathroom it’s just easier and more convenient for the parent to have them per wherever they may be. It’s laziness. You train your child not only to use a toliet
but to take opportunities to go while there is one available. It’s not just little boys who do this. A
lot of grown men pee outdoors if they are outside because they don’t want to have to go inside and go through what they perceive as a lot of trouble. I find it very disgusting not to mention
unsanitary. You know they didn’t wash their hands!!

Oh, give them a brake! The only person who knows the true situation here is Dad. For all anyone knows, Dad could have been putting his cart away when his son decided he had to go. No one knows whether Dad or little guy made the decision to go right then and there. As a Mom of two now grown boys i have been in his shoes. True i would have tried to shield him a little better..but when nature calls!

For all we know the child saw his dad do it once, and just whipped down his pants and was going at it and the mom is in the process of trying to stop him. Hence the little one left in a cart ,unattended. Kids do have a tendency to whip off clothes at a moment’s notice!

“Mother Nature” is NO excuse. Mighty funny children who are taught how to use bathrooms correctly – never go outside, much less outside in a public place. Laziness, thats all it is. Oh, & disgusting.

Seriously, that is a Mom not a Dad and the baby in the cart is strapped into the seat but turning around to look. First, teach your kids not to pee in their pants and then teach them to pee in the toilet. VBCHICK – get a life.

I have 2 boys and in emergencies let them pee outside (one time we were delivering ads out in the middle of nowhere…he had to go..even the cop who stopped to see if we were ok laughed and said he understood when we explained) You explain that you don’t do it anywhere anytime, you only do it in dire emergencies and also a little more discreet (don’t need to pull the pants all the way down). My kids are older and even when little and outside playing never just “whipped it out and started peeing in the middle of the yard”

I am amazed at how many of you know do much about this situation. Did you read the backstory somewhere, or are you just judging others based on insufficient information?

And please learn how to spell and construct sentences. Most of you, based on the way you’ve written here, are in no position to judge anyone.

Come on now, really! The toddler had to go, it happens. Also I think if you go into Walmart who of us hasn’t seen worse!! What the hell do you people think people did back in the day park a buggy and run into the nearest store to take a leak nope, when they had to go they went. And as far as the smallest one in the cart if you would look at the pic the cart is on her behind and can easily grab it. I’ve seen mothers park their cart at the end of the aisle and go to the other end for something. Come on now get over it people!!!!! Let’s move along with our day!!!!
