Pulling In & Out

Well it’s a tad passive aggressive, but I’m gonna go ahead and side with him on this one. Learn to not park like an a-hole.

If people wouldn’t ding the door of the car parked next to them, then we wouldn’t need to park this way. Pretty sure there is another spot nearby.

I’ll give the note an extra bonus for being neatly written and for having all the words fully spelled out.

The way some people drive, the rest of us with nice vehicles park far away, and take two spaces to keep the idiots away from our vehicles. Especially since parking spaces are now sized for compact cars and some of us drive full sized pickups!

I used to have a pad of sticky notes in my car that said, “Way to park, Ace!” I’d put one on the windshield when I saw someone do a particularly bad park job.

We do park our nice cars like this to keep those inconsiderate, don’t care about anyone but themselves, don’t have enough sense to hold their own door, are too wide to get out of their own car without pushing their own doors to maximum capacity, people from dinging our doors. Yet there are times when I park way out, some POS car is parked right up on me when i come back out. I give those people credit though, they didn’t find the closest spot and did have walk their big ole bodies farther than most people are willing to walk.

I can’t say how many cars need a friendly reminder like this on parking etiquette.
@JOBLO if you are concerned about your car then it is up to you to park far away and not to be selfish and try to manipulate multiple spaces close to a store. Those white lines are meant as rules not guidelines.
@JAMES even if you park far enough away you should still be in the white lines. Hopefully you will be far enough away that no one else will park next to you.

It’s pretty simple. If your vehicle won’t fit in a compact space, DON’T PARK IN A COMPACT SPACE. They are marked “COMPACT” by law (here in CA) so learn to read and park in another space.

O–Kay then. BTW, you are just assuming this car is close to the store. And it is technically illegal to damage someone’s car and leave without a note. That’s a law, not a rule.

This is where having a handicapped placard (for my ankle implant) comes in really handy. Another thing to note: The striped areas surrounding handicapped spaces are part of the handicapped zone; you can be ticketed and even towed for parking there…

I love to look for cars parked like this so I can KEY them! Talk about being inconsiderate, the space is made for one car and your nobody special, especially the lexus and expensive made cars, if your scared to get your car scratched park at the rear of the parking lot, and another thing parking in a handicap parking gets you a cracked windshield for being lazy!

Make sure to bend the fuck out of the wiper when you put those notes on the windshield. If you have to park like that you should do it way out in a secluded area. I will damage your fucking car for that inconsiderate shit.

HONESTLY WE HAVE NO CLUE WHERE THE CAR IS…FOR ALL WE KNOW IT IS OUT IN THE BOONIES AND SOME MORON IS JUST PISSED BECAUSE HE WANTED THAT KIND OF A CAR AND CAN’T WORK TO AFFORD IT. BE HONEST IF YOU HAD A BRAND NEW CAR YOU WOULD DEFINITELY PARK IT WAY OUT AND PARK A LITTLE CROOKED…OH AND YES YOU CAN PARK OUT IN THE REAR LOT HOWEVER ONE PIECE OF JUNK ALWAYS MANAGES TO FIND THAT SHINY NEW CAR AND STILL MANAGE TO DING IT….THAT IS TRULY INCONSIDERATE

If you are refering to James, you need to learn to read; he wasn’t saying he was parking in a “compact only” space. He said they are making parking spaces too fucking narrow nowadays. Some of us still drive larger vehichles. I’m also big(not POWM status though), and don’t feel like limboing in and out of my car.

Why would anyone with a nice enough car to have to take two spaces to prevent someone from parking next to them shop at Wal-mart in the first place?

In lots where there is plenty of room, This isn’t a big deal. But in places where almost every spot is taken every day, I used to squeeze my little car between them and the line.

When my foster siblings destroyed my passenger door, I no longer cared if I got “dinged”, and wasn’t about to drive around a parking lot looking for a newly opened spot.

Taking up two spaces to protect your car is basically asking for it to be vandalized. I have a couple of nice ones, and I just park way out in the middle of nowhere, but use one space. Though I am sure there are pricks out there that would see that and think “oh, they parked out of the way to avoid a ding on their nice car, well I’ll just drive over there and show them it does not matter where you park, you’re getting dinged”.
