it looks photo-shopped
September 6th, 2009
really bad photoshop
not a photoshop, this vehicle exists
two trucks welded together, that is safe.
September 7th, 2009
Wow… What a Classy Guy. Must’ve cost a fortune to rent it. I’m also presuming he’s getting himself a nice V-Neck and some Blue Jeans for his prom. Can’t wait to meet the girlfriend!
if this is real, this is a win!
Am I the only one that noticed that the front is a Toyota and the back half is a Chevy?
Im sure it would have been cheaper and easier to buy a 3500 HD duely from Chevy. its the same size…
That just happened!!!! LMAO
Actually thought this was a redneck hearse.
September 8th, 2009
Photoshopped. Look at lines behind first door, and step rail is different
September 9th, 2009
Looks real, just like they welded two cars together. Why you’d do that much work and not paint it the same color is beyond me, though. I guess they want people to see how OMG COOL they are. Ugh.
September 11th, 2009
this picture is full of FAIL. its photoshoped.
Once again, I took this photo…it is NOT a photoshop
I think I’m in love

“Am I the only one that noticed that the front is a Toyota and the back half is a Chevy?”
This doesn’t suprise me one bit.LOL.You wouldn’t believe how many different car parts from different vehichles my father and brothers and uncles have used to create the “perfect” car.LOL.
And in defense of the person being called a ‘photoshopper’ I believe he actually seen this and took a picture. If you live in the boon docks like Moi you see this sort of thing often.LOL.And I happen to like that truck,we could’ve used this growing up in a family of 8.LOL.
Does not look real at all the weld is in between the rear window cant be safe i cant believe this one
It’s real! That is the finest red neck 4 door pick up i have ever seen home made! If i ever see the guy who owns this I am gonna buy it from him! This rig just needs some spinnin 20′s and its finished!
you guys are stupid. it’s not photoshopped. stop trying to act like you know what photoshop is or the qualities that give away a doctored picture.
note the reflection, the lighting and the seams are all normal and not blurred in anyway.
seriously, bunch of doofs.
You know it
It IS photoshopped. How do you open the second door if all the “seams” are correct? Look at the running board under the second door, how did the picture get blurred in just this one spot? As far as the reflections they don’t match or they are stretched in some places. Sorry NOT real.

I am 98% sure this is photoshopped due to the door crease on the back door, not that I have not seen this type of thing before, I just think this thing is faked. I am also about 80% sure this is the ClanTee Wal-Mart (Santee, CA). This would be San Diego’s version of the south, rednecks and all. These type of vehicles exist in great quantities in El Cajon, Santee and Lakeside, not to mention Spring Valley and Bonita. I know a guy who had a lifted 69 Camaro.
It IS photoshopped, however, the only part that is photoshopped is the rear door, it doesn’t exist. It is just the front door duplicated, the angle is off and you can see where they tried to make it look different, hints the smudging where the mirror was and the random white spot on the smaller window, and you can see where the white cars refection doesn’t match up, its just a smudge. The lighter spots on the smaller window give it all away.
September 15th, 2009
I dont care if its fake or not. What impresses me is that its not even taking up two hole parking spots.
and its inspired me to do the same thing.
September 16th, 2009
Everyone who thinks it’s a photoshop. It’s not, and doesn’t need to be to be full of fail. Unless they did an incredible job of welding AND added lots of reinforcement at the join, that truck is an accident waiting to happen. The main structural members of a vehicle are usually one piece from back to front for some very good reasons.
So either it was an expensive custom job.. or a homemade ticking timebomb.
September 17th, 2009
I’m a graphic designer and spend 10 hours a day using Adobe Photoshop. I assure you that this is Photoshopped. Save the picture and open the file in Photoshop and zoom in on the door area, it will become obvious that it has been messed with.
The back half is not chevy, chevy does not have the lil flare around the wheel well
September 18th, 2009
looks real to me…….people do this sort of thing all the time….I bet you never seen the jaguar that is jacked up like a mudd truck either huh?….dumb asses think they know it all.
September 19th, 2009
Obviously you were mistaken…

Limo: The Redneck Version
its real. There is a crease for the doors to open. I have seen a truck similiar to this. There is no bend in the middle. REAL REAL REAL.. Also not a chevy rear bed. Why everyone always assumme photoshop. just cuz you cant imagine something being made or done doesnt mean it hasnt been!!!
September 21st, 2009
Its real and online look it up
At least it’s clean, right?
September 27th, 2009
Marty pulled his new pickup out of the garage that Biff waxed up for him, took out Jennifer, and drove it to WalMart. To Bad we can’t go Back to the Past and change the Present to stop the madness!
September 29th, 2009
Hey so after reading your comments and looking you guys that think its a photo shop image are not paying close enough attention.
*Note the door trim that is missing on the rear door. No person would copy the door and then take the time to remove the black and chrome trim.
*Also the fill panel between the front door and rear door window with vertical lights would be hard to make that clean, there are no car panels large enough to copy that from.
*That is also not a chevy rear-end haha anyone that know’s chevy would clearly tell you Chevy never made a bed with that more square fender flare. All Chevy flares are proportionately the same distance from the actual wheel well the entire way around unlike Toyota flares. Also a chevy truck bed is 14″ wider and the amount of work to narrow to match the body line would never be worth it.
*If you still need more proof look at the pavement, its un-touched and if you photoshoped this they would have had to move the tire shadows a significant amount thus creating a lot of new pavement which again they dont have a lot to pull from or edit the heck out of the rear end to put the back tires into the shade because they would have been in the sun.
*Nice try on pulling the photoshop card but if you knew photoshop well enough to know how to do this you would understand where to look for flaws and you are looking in the wrong places.

I like it! Frames can be cut and welded, but need adequate gusseting and trussing. I wish I could buy a similar model truck new.
October 4th, 2009
I love the old Toyotas. This guy probably does too. He also likes Crew Cad pickups, I do too.
This is totally a photoshop. The two trucks used are at different angles. You can tell because the perspective is off. It’s not as simple as saying “maybe they welded it together wrong” because it’s not that. The photos are not lined up correctly.
Take a piece of paper and line it up along the white line on the concrete behind the truck. When you line it up along the left side of the line, you will notice that the right side of the line is about a centimeter below where it actually should lie. This is because the perspectives on the two trucks doesn’t match up. Photoshop.
WELCOME TO ARKANSAS!!
October 9th, 2009
Absolutely fake. I don’t know jack about photoshop, but I AM a mechanical engineer. There are so many structural contradictions I don’t know where to start. Mainly: welding would NOT do that and hold.
October 10th, 2009
I think toyota made four door pickup like this but it was never brought to the U.S. and A.
October 13th, 2009
You “fake” sayers are ALL wrong…
I challenge ANYONE to call it fake, I’ve SEEN it before. It actually is PARKED 2 blocks from my house RIGHT NOW.
E-mail me for a CELL PHONE picture and I’ll hook you up.
This thing is IN FACT a real vehicle!
October 16th, 2009
I also have VIDEO of this vehicle for those interested….
Especially Ms. “I photoshop 10 hours a day and it’s fake”
October 19th, 2009
Not fake, and those of you who pretend you know enough about autobody work to guess it isn’t durable welded, are extremely ignorant.
A good weld job and reinforcement could make it MUCH MUCH stronger than the original. Original autobody work is not meant to be as strong as possible, it is meant to be done quickly automated by robots at low cost and light weight.
… or to put it another way, when was the last time you saw a stretch limo that fell apart from the middle? Ignorant people should just keep quiet.
October 20th, 2009
ok… this obviously isn’t photoshopped. the step rail doesn’t look different because it’s photoshopped, it’s different because they added to the original step rail to accommodate for the second door.
most of the photoshop accusers here are obviously people who don’t understand automotive customization. of course you can extend the frame of a car. yeah, welding two frames together can be pretty dangerous, though, and if you have the money, supplies, and time to devote to a project like this, go for it. personally, i think this truck is fugly. and why would you put another front door in the back? that’s just retarded. they should’ve just taken the doors from a crew cab. but yeah, the back door is missing the trim, has tint, and doesn’t have a mirror.
i assure you, this monstrosity is real.
October 21st, 2009
post the photo on 4chan.org and see – they’re the photoshop experts haha.
I came back to check out the comments and it amazes me how many of you “experts” point out all the reasons this is so “obviously photoshopped.” It makes me wish I had snapped more photos while I was standing there. At the time I snapped this photo, I wasn’t even aware of this website, I snapped it for my own amusement at the Walmart off the 10 Fwy in Baldwin Park, CA. This truck is real, real, real, it does exist.
There is no wrong perspective, or two trucks photographed from different angles, there are no breaks in the lines, etc, bla bla bla. This photo is as real as it gets, taken with my blackberry storm 3.2 megapixel camera phone.
October 25th, 2009
I so want to rent this for my wedding!!!!
October 26th, 2009
That is sick I would so ride on that
November 1st, 2009
That looks like somthing my dad would do…….. Wait a minute…… I live in California!!!….. Dad!!!!! Brb
November 5th, 2009
Guy probably works for a body shop, came across the raw materials to do the deed and said, “Hey, W.T.F…. it’ll be different” Certainly do-able if you know how to weld, look at all the other stretched cars and trucks you see around. Hell, up in the Tacoma area there is a stretched ’57 Chevy Bel Air sedan, a stretched mid ’80s Vette AND a stretched PT Cruiser. Numerous stretched Humvees, Navagators, etc…
November 13th, 2009
WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO A 4RUNNER????!?!?!?!!
November 24th, 2009
that is photoshopped
November 25th, 2009
Some redneck must have won the lottery.
November 26th, 2009
What do you call the sheetmetal on a 4RUNNER ?
A fourskin .
