I looked over your website, and I feel that you really are harsh towards these people. I thought that the pictures of the different cars and the outrageous costumes could be interesting to look at, without the rude comments. And please get rid of the pictures mocking people in pajamas and clothes that don’t fit. The website itself would not be so bad if you did not make fun of all the people, and instead made it out as a portrait of the people of America. I feel that it is wrong to make fun of people for being different, and instead we should embrace the differences. Everyone has feelings, and what right do we have to hurt those feelings and to make fun of their personal sense of style? We live in America and we should be grateful that our country is so colorful and vast in personal tastes and styles. I do not feel that it is right to make fun of someone for just being who they are and enjoying fully their right of personal expression. If we were not all so different, our lives would be very boring, indeed. I also have to say, that I highly doubt that you always look your very best or choose all of your clothes based on the very latest fashion trends today, I know I don’t, like most people, I just can’t afford to. I agree that sometimes people wear things that really don’t show them in the best light, but who are we to judge? These could be really great people, and making fun of them for all the world to see is wrong. I try to teach my children not to judge and humiliate others, what kind of examples are you setting for your children? I also encourage my children to dress how they would like to, and even though some of their outfits are creative and a little on the flambouyant side, I would hate to see someone mocking them and writing rude captions about them for all to see. That’s a great way to continue the self-image issues that people have of themselves today, and I feel that we should be trying to bring others up during these times, not push them down. I really hope that you will think about the way you are portraying these people and reconsider the hurt you are spreading during a time when we should be spreading hope.

Did you come to this site expecting to be enlightened by their altruism? Personal expression and censorship are a slippery slopes. It’s fine to teach your children to express themselves, but it’s irresponsible to not prepare them for the realities of the world. It’s within your rights to go out dressed inappropriately, but, it’s within my rights to chuckle behind your back. The world is not fair, it’s not sunshine and kittens. This is personal expression as well, if you don’t like it, don’t look.

I hate to say it but you are right this is a bit rude, BUT it is rather funny and alot of the people do it to get attention so just lighten up a bit and laugh at a fart joke.

Edie–Agreed. On my part–I may not ALWAYS look like a freakin fashion plate when I go out…HOWEVER…As a size 16, i do NOT try fitting into a piece of clothing that fit me in high school…

You voted for Obama didn’t you? Either way, there is this wonderful thing called freedom of choice in America. Use it, click the little red “X” on the top right of your internet browser.

if these people really cared that people were making fun of them they wouldn’t have gone to the store (or anywhere really in public) dressed like this. its a fact that the world is full of cruel people who make fun of others and if you cant realize that then you at least should have sense enough to accept yourself for who you are and just love the fact that people look. i personally make obscene comments and jokes at the store just so people stare at me and wonder whats wrong with me. some people just think its funny

  8. Rainbow (yup its real..and it my legal name) uh oh here come the comments OH NO im soooo concerned! LMFAO

Sarah…i LOVE you for being kind…and brave enough to write something so sweet and from your heart!! i too thought it would be interesting to look here and see all the colors of this world…

…as i am very artistic in my style or “frikking weird” as many would call it LOL for me…i do NOT care what people say or think of me…if someone wants to judge me for how i look… good for them!

and no all you Judgey Judys…im not commenting because im fat nor am i ugly…not single…not a crazy cat lady…just someone with confidence and crazy style…that makes me happy :)

…my thought going out to such people is “awwww…so glad for you that your tiny wee narrow negative mind is working hard to pump the blood to your little single digit IQ of a mind..so your optic nerves can keep on focusing on me..whilst attempting to get the remaining 3 brain cells you have to focus on you grabbing your phone to snap MY picture! ahahaha arent you a sad little beast!”

and other than a few sad people like that… i have a lovely time out whether picking up veggies at Walmart or volunteering at my local senior center where many are blind and dont care that i have rainbow hair and tattoos…and are just grateful for me spending time and helping them eat their lunches and reading their books to them etc :) \9\why yes, a person with rainbow hair and tattoos CAN read!! AMAZING!! ahaha)

Many people love to stop and talk with me and lots of children come up and ask how i got a rainbow in my hair..others come up smiling and thanking me for just brightening their day…

all of this is nice…but really i dress how i want for ME if others like it, thats nice..if not look away or stare…whatever….but hey stare long enough with a sneer on your face i may just surprise a bitch-ass such as yourself and smash a bat into your teeth… :O

so hey judge on mo fos…judge on… just because someone LOOKS bright and friendly …doesnt mean you can point and stare and say nasty crappy comments or even come up and tug on my hair saying its fake…etc…with out consequences.

yup yup ready like Freddy. ELLE OH ELLE

love you tho Sarah…you have as i say…a beautiful heart and it is people like YOU who should be having children!! many others making comments on this site should be sterilized pronto! ;) xo

@ “rainbow” like all the others, if you don’t like it, don’t view. Also LOOK IN THE MIRROR BEFORE YOU LEAVE the house, otherwise you WILL get laughed at. You WILL get talked about behind your back. You WILL get made fun of. End of story.
