One: Why don’t any other comments appear? Two: Because anyone with a tattoo beats their wife! Also, anyone with a piercing is an African that will curse you with bad juju.

Now wait… don’t be too quick to judge this one. This is the perfect gift for someone who just can’t make up their mind what kind of tat they really want, or where they want it at. This way, they can change it out every day! Laugh it up… but some redneck is going to be rich! The Sharks are going to all want to buy into this venture!
I’m not sure which offends me more: toy tattoo machines or stereotypes about people who have tattoos!
I’m going with the latter.

Ok, since when does having tattoos constitute someone as abusive? These stereotypes are as ridiculous as the fact that this picture made it on this website. Are children drawing on themselves a completely revolutionary idea??? Someone was just smart enough to package something kids do to themselves anyways to make a profit off of it. Learn not to generalize. Thanks.

seeing as it hasnt been mentioned yet……
real vibrating action!! not just a gift for the kids, but for the lonely lady at home!!!
Tattoos are worthless things and even more worthless as art investments, because real art can actually appreciate in value where tattoos die with their owners.
On the subject of tattoo stereotypes:
Stereotype #1: Tattoos make you rebellious.
Wrong. Lots of people have them now. They’re so boringly common and “establishment.” It’s more rebellious to not get one, when popular society tries to force them down everybody’s throat.
Stereotype #2: Having a tattoo makes you artistically expressive.
Wrong. Only the actual tattoo artist is expressing his art. This is as ridiculous as the canvas the Mona Lisa is painted on claiming it is responsible.
Stereotype #3: Tattoos are big money.
Actually the real money is in tattoo removal. It’s more expensive and more people are getting tattoos removed than getting them put on. (officially, I’m sure the prison, ghetto, and trailer park tattoos will fly under the radar)

I think you should study up on tattoo history before spewing your ignorance. It can be an expression of whatever you want it to be, it’s a very personal thing.
seems to me you have some biased opinions. Perhaps you were beaten by a person who had tattoos and now you piss yourself whenever you see them. I could understand your ignorance if that were the case, otherwise you are just some conservative backwards thinking person wanting to impose your views on others.

is it really surprising that the judging this site condones by posting pictures of people that shop at walmart would stop with the photos? here in this thread, you have people giving their opinions about tattoos, projecting stereotypes about people with tattoos and the photo is question is a child’s toy. it’s a vibrating marker.
the first thing that struck me was that someone thinks that spouse abuse is funny. and the fact that the contributors of this thread ignored this completely and focused on the tattoo stereotype and/or how tattoos are worthless would totally lead me to believe that this isn’t an intelligent crowd… this is the usual “hide behind my computer screen” group of internet soapboxers that have nothing really constructive to contribute to society.
and jeff, you’ve got it all wrong, man. first off, you’re not listing stereotypes, you’re listing reasons why someone might want a tattoo and you’re debunking it with your own opinion. way to go!
people get tattoos for lots of different reasons and whether or not they are commonplace or not may or may not be the reason the person is getting inked. art exists in many forms and on many mediums. and who in the hell gets a tattoo as an art investment? are you an idiot? people that i know with tattoos, myself included, get them for specific reasons… they are meaningful to the individual. does that mean that there isn’t someone out there trying to be rebellious or is trying to fit in to a certain crowd? of course not. but you are trying to pigeon-hole everyone that has a tattoo into one neat definition and it just won’t work.
and lastly, wife beating isn’t funny. no one should ever have to live through any kind of abuse from anyone especially when those things often get out of hand and end up with someone dead. anger is a bad thing. don’t take it out on someone you love. or don’t get into a relationship if you can’t manage your anger.
Thanks Jeff your opinion is great and your post is so well formated that I will forward this terrific message to the entire planet earth and maybe erradiate it to venus and mars also.

Hey Hon! We can rent out the rugrats for some extra dough! McDonalds on their back…. Geico on their forehead….Budweiser….yeah we could shave their head!
These Stereotypes about tattoos are wrong. People with tattoos aren’t all ex-cons, and they do not all beat their wife. It’s perfectly normal to have a tattoo.
But the reason this product is so messed up, it’s advertising tattooing to young Kids. Do you think any caring and sane parent would want their 6 year old bearing a tattoo on their back? If you saw a kid with a tattoo on their arm, how would you react?
To Lauren – True, Kids do always draw and color on themselves. The end product might be the same. But tattooing and drawing are so different. If a Kid walks into a daycare center and draws on himself, that’s normal. The parent may get a little mad, but hey… it’s a Kid. If the same kid walk into a tattoo shop, and asks to get a tattoo on his arm, that’s a different story. Granted that the electronic pen is nothing like a real tattooing pen, it will send the wrong message to Kids.

Jim, it’s a joke. It’s all funny until it personally offends you. How many of the fat people, trailor trash and half nude ewoks have you laughed at on this site? I gained 70 pounds being a surrogate and, a year later, am still trying to lose the weight from all the hormones and steroids you have to take. You don’t see me whining that people are being mean to all the fat people. If you’re on this site, then take it for what it is, laughing at the human condition.

First of all, I’m a bit surprised that most people are seeming to ignore or not notice the obvious alternate use of this item. It’s a vibrating pen. And did anyone else happen to notice that shape?
Second of all, without all the arguing and bickering over “this type of person gets tattoos,” people are going to get them regardless. Whoever mentioned using this as a “tattoo preview” pen was thinking with their heads, probably a bit too progressive of thinking of your average Walmartian. Most people I have known who have/want tattoos (including myself) spent a lot of time debating where they wanted their tattoo at: some of them for the tattoo’s value on a personal level (artistic expression included), some for business reasons (I fell into this category, I work in a corporate business environment), and even the ones who wanted them in areas that could be easily displayed. Having something like this would be pretty useful in a situation where you needed to know if you *really* wanted this permanent mark in that location of your body.
Sooo.. Jim… just so you know.. spousal abuse is not perpetrated by one who cannot control his/her anger, that person is always in control. Please don’t try and sound like you know unless you’re educated. thanks.
I do disagree with the stereotype and jab at spousal abuse.

Wow there is alot of ignorant people on here. I understand this site and can laugh at the stereotypes on here but this one just went to far. As a parent and someone that probably has more tattoos then all of you and in places that cant be covered up I see nothing wrong with this product. How does it differ from a kid drawing on themselves or even the fake tattoos you buy?I have and never would beat my wife. I have a temper and have tattoos….so I guess according to this caption and to jim my wife should take my kid and run. Educate yourselves before comment on a subject that apparently you know nothing about because it makes you sound very ignorant.
ok so this one is a little crazy! i have tattoos and so does my husband and he doesnt beat me! come on people get real! just because someone has tattoos doesnt mean they will be beat their spouse!

Why can this just help a child be creative and learn a beautiful form of art. Oh wait, you are one of those people who believe that if you are not exactly the same as everyone else, than you must be evil, or a dirtbag, or a convict, right? I would rather that my children learn that it is ok to be different as long as you are caring and dependable to those around you. It is not about what you look like on the outside but who you are on the inside that is important.

for all the people on here, talking down on tattooers or tattooed people, I would just like to point out how ignorant you really are, you probably go to a job you hate everyday . I on the other hand tattoo for a living I sit around and draw on people and make more money an hour than you will ever make in your pathetic life…… Judge not as you be judged first .

ABOUT THE POSTING FROM JIM ON SEPTEMBER 6th, I’VE NEVER FELT SO MUCH EMOTION FROM A POSTING. 1st IT IMPRESSED ME, THEN IT IRRITATED ME, THEN IT MADE ME LAUGH, THEN IT MADE ME CRY. NOW THAT IT’S OVER, I’M NOT SURE HOW I FEEL ABOUT IT.
LET ME KNOW WHEN YOUR NEXT BOOK OR MOVIE WILL BE OUT. I THINK I’M 1 OF YOUR BIGGEST FANS!

lol i had to laugh. My son who is 10 got that as a christmas present. There are some lame stencils (helmets n things like that) and tribal designs. He wanted his name on his arm. He wanted a spider on his neck next so I said ok. Well when it washed off (black ink), the ink didnt totally wash off. it was pink so it looked like he had a hickey so he was forbidden to have anything on his neck lol.

Both my husband and I have multiple tattoos. We beat each other constantly! Oh, and we allow our son to use those rub on tattoos. I’ve been told he is beating up on some of his kindergarten classmates! I think we may get him this for Christmas!

1) The fact that this is being marketed to children…
2) Realizing that I would totaly buy it for my kid…
3) or the comments of everyone upset by the caption.

I have a tattoo and am completely against anyone ‘beating’ their significant other, male or female..however, I am not in the least offended here. That caption is hilarious!! I nearly spit my soda out at my laptop screen! Viewers, these are JOKES…quit taking them so seriously! If you are easily offended then don’t look at such sites as peopleofwalmart, where you are already looking to laugh at other’s style, short comings, and choices. Thank you for the laugh I needed tonight with that (among others) photo after a long day : )

whoa whoa whoa now! My man is one hell of a tattoo artist and he would never think about laying a hand on a female! I think you need to step down off your stereotypical high horse and think before you go running your mouth again about things you obviously know nothing about!

From John- “I on the other hand tattoo for a living I sit around and draw on people and make more money an hour than you will ever make in your pathetic life…… Judge not as you be judged first .”
You almost made a good point and then you got stupid. Do you really think anyone believes that the $100 tops you pull in an hour is more money than others make in their whole life? At least you picked tattooing and not economics as a career choice.

ok so as many stated before me, why in the hell do you have to refer tattoos to beating your wife, I have tattoos, and so does my husband and neither one of us beat each other, this is why people can’t have visible tats at work because jackasses like this make out like you are some kind of trash because you have tattoos, THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH PEOPLE WHO HAVE TATTOOS QUIT BEING IGNORANT ABOUT IT!!!!!!!!!!

Uhm, is everyone forgetting that temporary tattoos (the kind you put on your skin and put a wet washcloth over it for 30 sec) have been around for god knows how long? this is a modern version of an old toy, stop getting your panties in a wad.
