StegaCARous

“Hey dude, I’m gonna turn my car into a Stegosaurus!” – ‘Ya, absolutely. I honestly can’t think of anything else to spend your money on. Probably one of the best investments you can make actually. You’re gonna get so much tail in that thing.’

I like it. Very creative, and probably cost about five bucks in cardboard and craft paint. Good thing Kias can’t get over about 65 mph or the horn would go flying off.

Thanks Kirk! I was beginning to wonder if I was the only person who has ever seen a skeleton or drawing or any recreation of a stegosaurus. Guess what people…THEY DIDN’T HAVE HORNS ON THEIR NOSES!!! It’s a dragon or I guess some people think it looks like a car from Death Race. I wouldn’t know because most everything with Jason Statham is cinematic diarrhea so I tend to avoid.

No STRYC9, I recognized it as soon as I saw it.
Frankensteins (David Carradine) car to be precise.
It was supposed to be a modified Chevy Corvette in the movie. But if you look closely at it you can see that it is actually a VW kit car.
All of the cars in that movie where VW frames with fiberglass kit bodies.
This is a very bad knock off of the Dragon Vette. Very bad.
Yet, good enough that true fans of the original B movie classic can recognize it at first site.

To think that Molly and Thomas would be reunited in this way.
To think that I actually found my way here….
I think E.O. Wilson might describe this as a moment of consilience– you know, where seemingly unrelated areas find the level of abstraction where their relatedness appears evident.
Now to find Thomas Peak…..

I did the art car parade in Houston 8 times in other cars of mine.

I like the “Kiasaurous”! It’s not stupid, it’s funny. It’s art.
Besides, what else are you going to do with a Kia? Would you be any less embarrassed driving a “normal” one? So you embrace it. You say to the world, “Out of my way, Mr. BMW! Kiasaurous, comin’ through!
I hope it has an even bigger horn, under the hood.
Go, little Kiasaurous! This parking space, is YOURS!
