to the person who said put it on the hood.-um the heat from the engine would heat up the deer and cause the meat to spoil. Ive seen one in a back of van during deer season in Oklahoma. Brings back so many good memories.

There’s better ways to put the deer in the trunk than having it’s hind end sticking out. They have the tarp there, if it was hanging for a while it wouldn’t be dripping too much blood anyway. Put the back in first, so that only the hooves are sticking out the trunk. (Done it before…live in Wisconsin

I went to a Walmart in Chantilly, VA in the mid-90’s and there was an old, beat up station wagon double-parked in front with a dead deer tied to the top with blood trickling down the side. Little kids that saw it going into and out of the Walmart were freaking out. My guess is that the guy(s) ran out of ammo and decided to swing by the local Walmart to pick up some more…

I don’t understand how this picture offends so many people…If this hunter is hunting for sustenance, which I would imagine they were, then any meat-eater out there should understand the process behind butchering an animal. He/she may have a somewhat crass way of transporting their kill, but if that were their only means of transportation, then you gotta do what you gotta do. Vegetarians/Vegans can choose to be offended, but need to realize that hunting is a legitimate source of food for many people in this, and other, countries; so don’t be so critical of how they chose to move this animal.

And the rest of you fools, Does fresh meat out of the cooler in the grocery store smell bad? This is even FRESHER! Idiots! ANd what would you need from walmart on the way home from hunting? Can any of you uneducated mouth breathers say FREEZER WRAP for the meat that is in your trunk?
And as one person pointed out, it is unlawful to completely conceal a deer that you just harvested while hunting in Wisconsin, therefore some of it MUST hang out of the trunk AND if it IS a buck hanging the antlers out will A) risk damaging the registration (deer) tag, B) risk damaging the antlers should some fib (fargin’ Illinois bastad) rear end you as they are drinking their beer while driving and C) tempt some wallyworld denizen to steal it. the only real problem is the dolt didnt tie the legs together so the lower leg doesnt drag…
AND you animal rights morons, yes animals DO have rights, thr rights to be tasy in a frying pan and on my dinner plate. So shut yer traps, that could just as easily have been YOU in that trunk…Jeffery Dahmer shopped at Walmart too ya know!
