the caption “what type of person would put a gerbil up their ass?” comes off w/ the intent of saying that “this person” is a putrid person. the underlying tone is that the man in this photo is a gay. and of course, all gay men put gerbils up their asses.
i find this very degrading, abusive and malicious.
i have hundreds of gay friends and i can safely tell you that out of 500+ friends, not one of them has ever placed a gerbil or any other animal, rodent, vermin, or whatever up their ass. that’s a larger “data set” than most polls and reports you see on the nightly news.
please, people, keep the jokes coming, but let’s not propagate the abusive, malicious comments and keep them 1) fact/truth based, 2) lighthearted, whimsical and humorous.

Jeez. I have one of these fishnet shirts, and I use it for layering. I’ll tuck it into skinnies or a skirt, then put a short sleeve on. Never knew that so many people hadn’t seen these things before. Plenty of rock musicians sport them, and they’re a gothic wardrobe staple. Just because this fellow didn’t employ the garment well, doesn’t mean it shouldn’t exist. I see plenty of people rocking these at the local night club and they rarely fail to enhance an outfit. Yes, even straight men’s outfits. Mesh shirts can loo pretty masculine with the right body-type and second layer.
