I had the extreme misfortune of having to wear that terrible costume for the Easter shoot at the Michigan store where I work. I think more children were afraid than were excited to see the bunny. The only thing worse than that was dressing up as Santa…a 23 year old 160 lb male makes a TERRIBLE Santa. I worked at K-Mart, and my manager made me wear a bunny suit JUST LIKE THAT ONE… There is no way ANYONE should be that comfortable wearing that kind of get-up.

I play the easter bunny every year. And I have found that looking relaxed gets more kids to shake my hand and not be so scared of me. If I act to outgoing and reach out some kids get very scared and will cry and run away. So I just sit back and wave at the kids when they walk up to me I put my hand out and most are ok with it.
