All you people putting down Nascar, I would like to see you do the things these guys do. Look it up, its a real strain on the body, Reaching speeds up to 300 miles per hour, no AC, heat from the track and the engine plus a full body fire proof suit and helmet. These guys are real athletes, Yeah its true they arent wrestling eachother to the ground over a pigskin ball or running for a home run on a dimond, but I promise you that none of those “Pro-athletes” can do the things these guys do, or given the chance would want to go through that kinda strain. Oh and a real contact sport isnt being tackled, its hitting either another car or a concrete wall at 300 miles per hour. Contact doesnt get much more personal than that.

It’s really not that unusual to see a Nascar driver in Wal-Mart in Moorseville area in NC. Is it just me or does Dale Jr., not really seem to want to take this picture?
Actually, that’s my local WalMart, and its not uncommon to see drivers in WalMart, Target, Lowe;s, Radio Shack, Auto Zone, etc. Dave Blaney eats in Panera’s all the time.
And Dale Jr. very rarely goes out in public because of all the people that bother him, so he probably didn’t want to take the picture, but hes a nice person, so he obliged.
And a lot of the time the drivers don’t drive overly extravagant cars outside of NASCAR. The only drivers I’ve seen with really flashy cars are Kyle and Kurt Busch, and Tony Stewart’s Corvette.

My boyfriend is a racecar driver – he has raced with Kyle Busch, he gets to see these people every weekend at the tracks and the driver on the team he also works for is one of the more known racecar drivers. We shop at Wal-Mart. And yes, to Mooresville and Charlotte it’s not that big of a deal. They shop and eat at the same places we do; including Wal-Mart! But, don’t go out looking for them when you go shopping; that’s kind of creepy.

Okay look here people, I live right down the road from the Earnhardts, I have met them all several times and that definitely IS Dale Jr. He goes to Wal*Mart just like anybody else. So people who don’t live in North Carolina who try to say that’s not him are just wasting their breath. Anyways, I thought it was interesting that someone felt the need to lie and say he was nice. No, he’s not nice, he’s a spoiled rotten brat. What you see on TV is not what you get in good ol’ NC.

Look I have two things to say: First, that IS Dale Jr. If you are not from Mooresville, then you wouldn’t know that. Duh. And second: If you were from Mooresville, you really wouldn’t think that it was THAT big of a deal to see the entire Earnhardt family walking around Wal*Mart or CVS or Target. I mean really, it’s no big deal, he’s really not that cool in real life anyways. I find him to be pretty much: a brat.

I once saw a guy who looked exactly like Dale Earnhardt, Jr. in Wal-Mart, too–except, this guy was carrying a Sprint Cup trophy. My mistake…

My boyfriend is a racecar driver – he has raced with Kyle Busch, he gets to see these people every weekend at the tracks and the driver on the team he also works for is one of the more known racecar drivers. We shop at Wal-Mart. And yes, to Mooresville and Charlotte it’s not that big of a deal. They shop and eat at the same places we do; including Wal-Mart! But, don’t go out looking for them when you go shopping; that’s kind of creepy.
