This is just mean. Nothing funny about this picture. She is covered up, not carrying a cat, dragging her kid across the floor, or even riding in a motorized cart. She’s is being made fun of because of something she can’t help. This is not wal-creature material. The person who took the photo should be ashamed. How would you feel if that was your grandma or relative?

I’m an atheist. Yeah, go on, tell me I’m not. I wasn’t raised to believe in any god, though I had the freedom to. I have little problem with the religious folks of the world because I wasn’t ever one of them. Many atheists, and you do seem to be one of them, often feel angry that they were duped so early in life.
I don’t believe in heaven, hell, or karma, but I do believe in right and wrong. Why? Hell if I know, it’d just be so much easier to not. Damn my parents and their stupid morals!

I really enjoyed this site when it first appeared and have been a daily enjoyer, but I agree with all above that this is mean-spirited and I will stop watching the site.
I am a doctor (no kidding) and this person doubtlessly has serious medical issues, possibly anemia (ghostly white skin) and liver failure (you get a big gut like that that is very localized, like those old pictures of starving kids in Africa), called ascites. Additionally, she looks *sad*, not rocking out like the people in rainbow spandex.

@ jeffy’s gal: if she was born early in the last century, let me remind you that women young and old wore corsets in pursuit of an ever-smaller waistline. In the 20’s it was ideal to have a slim waist, little or no hip/butt and small breasts. In the 30’s all the wa through the 50’s women used their make-up to draw lines down the backs of their legs, so no one would think their legs were naked when the war took their stockings away. In the 60’s women burned their bras, made their own clothes, and even went naked; just for societal approval. In the 70’s women wore sequins and platform boots and gold lame’, all for pursuit of ‘beauty’. In the eighties, women used insane amounst of hairspray, so their hair would be acceptable. In the 90’s, we finally got a little open-mindedness and people started wearing things that truly suited them; things they liked. Thankfully that has largely remained true to this day. Do not try to tell me that a woman at max 80 years old was born in a time when looks were less important.
What a bunch of hypocrites you people are. They have posted lots of pics of older people on this site before and you tore them to shreds. What makes this one any different?
This one is just mean. It’s one thing to make fun of people for dressing like a freak or a slut but it’s not right to make fun of someone for something like this that they can’t help. I don’t believe in heaven, hell, or karma, but I do believe in right and wrong. Why? Hell if I know, it’d just be so much easier to not. Damn my parents and their stupid morals!
This lady may be ugly, she may be funny looking, but there’s nothing that she can do about it. The PoWM site CLEARLY states that this is not the type of person that will make it onto the site, yet here she is.
If you say one thing and do another, people aren’t going to be happy.
I have no interest in laughing at people for things they can’t help. There’s a difference between a person with medical conditions and a person wearing a tied up tank to give themselves a back boob job. If you guys can’t see that, you’re blind. Maybe the person had some disease to make them obese (yeah, right), but that same disease doesn’t make them wear stupid clothing.
Feel free to laugh at the ugly if you want, but the site wasn’t supposed to be for such low level humor.

I am a doctor (no kidding) and this person doubtlessly has serious medical issues, possibly anemia (ghostly white skin) and liver failure (you get a big gut like that that is very localized, like those old pictures of starving kids in Africa), called ascites. Additionally, she looks *sad*, not rocking out like the people in rainbow spandex.
This makes me sad.
