so i have a ton of stories! but i will pic a few only. i used to work at a walmart that is known to be really trashy, it wasnt like that when i was there, but it has since gone down hill. it has hit bottom actually. i worked on the floor and also cashiered when it was super busy. there was a woman who used to come in on her motorized chub club cart and hide things in her mu mu and her fat rolls! no joke! her and her kids would eat candy and leave the wrappers everywhere. also, one night i was walking up front to get my returns and i walked past a man in an isle whose little boy was standing up in the basket and peeing onto the floor while he pushed the cart and ignored the child! the best one is the condom we found in the chair in furniture! it was used and i didnt ask any questions! the most bizarre was the man who was caught shoplifting, and he knew it. so his response… to go into the bathroom strip naked and cover himself in soap. then roll around on the floor and!
pretend to have a siezure! they took him out cuffed to a stretcher, with a towel over his midsection! if i’m lieing, i’m dieing!
I have had a long-standing hatred for Walmart as do most decent people. Actually I’ve personally experienced most of the stories published to this site in my local Walmarts. This time, Walmart gave a little back to Stephen.
About a year ago I was working on the road out of hotels for a couple weeks and not near my local bank. When the ‘ol stipend came around I found myself reluctantly using a local WM for it’s check-cashing service.
After waiting in line at the customer service counter for about 17 days, it was finally my turn at the counter. Naturally, I was greeted by a young black, pregnant, female. Allegedly she was on hour 11, of a 12 hour shift and was extremely disheveled; worst night of her life.
I handed her my paycheck of $1,225 which required her to call for more cash. Her fellow employee promptly delivered the bank bag and handed her a stack of 50s. Seeing this, I jokingly said, “Hey new bills! Don’t let ’em stick together!” No reply. She finishes counting out the money, hands it to me, says have a nice day, and I step off to the side to recount it. (Duh)
I start counting in hundreds… 100, 200,…800,900,… 1100, 1200, 1300, …… 1400?……..1500??? ……… SEE’YA LATER!!!
I quit counting there, and calmly walk out the front door, hand clutching an enormous wad of cash. After final tally, Walmart ended up giving me an extra $1,300 on top of my paycheck. Yep, $2,525. In one transaction this young female mistakenly gave me more than she makes in a month. Not that she still works there after counting out her register that night.
MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) Myrtle Beach Police have arrested two accused shoplifters after a loss prevention officer said he saw them steal Rogaine and other items from Walmart Saturday.
According to a police report, officers responded to the Walmart located at 541 Seaboard St. around noon in reference to a shoplifting.
When they arrived, they met with the loss prevention officer who said he watched as the two suspects, identified as 25-year-old Jeffrey Harley Douglas and 19-year-old Samantha Lynn Hart, both of Myrtle Beach, conceal merchandise inside Hart’s purse.
Additionally, he said he saw Douglas conceal items underneath the front of his shirt after cutting packages with a knife.
Among the items reportedly shoplifted were $46 worth of men’s Rogaine, $43 worth of women’s Rogaine, four packs of drill bits, $37 worth of curl shampoo and conditioner, Nexxus shampoo and a prepaid phone. The total was valued at $410.
The complainant said he approached the pair and escorted them to the loss prevention room. According to the report, both Hart and Douglas admitted to the officers they shoplifted and both were arrested.
During a search, officers found a black knife inside Douglas’ front right pocket.
They have been charged with shoplifting under $2,000.
