Funky Monkeys

5154OH

1. I’ll just say that’s neat to put a monkey in overalls. Adorable. But now that’s out of the way I can go back to calling you both assholes. There is one accessory dumber than a fannypack in Walmart and that is a damn monkey. Get them out of the store. I don’t like poop and bugs next to my deli meats or anything else for that matter.

I couldn’t have put it better than what the caption contained! Animals do NOT need to be in and around food. There’s a reason for the laws that state that. But there are always those who like to skirt the system and take advantage of a law that allows service dogs for those who really do need them. Guess there will always be clods.

If they are so insistent on showing off their animal in a store…why not take them to Petsmart? Oh, yeah…there are other animals there that will steal their thunder.

Another example that Walmart doesn’t give a darn about who or what comes into their stores, just as long as they make money.

Now you would think by now with all the pictures on this web site with animals in their stores that someone? at Walmart corporate would get the message and make an effort to correct this and tell the local store managers you need to enforce some rules in your store, Number one would be that it includes NO PETS IN STORE . And number two: a dress code. and then stick to it for heavens sake. I’m done, I’m stepping down from my soap box.

@ B O B BOB I stopped shopping Wallyweird a long time ago for just the reasons you posted, starting at the door with the filthy, nasty, dirty shopping carts that I won’t even touch much less put my grocery’s in one. I agree with corporate not giving 2 _____, all that matters is bottom line . . . and I know my money will spend just as well in ANY other store but here.

Agree with all that is said here, but must point out that there are monkeys who are, in fact, legitimate service animals. Still don’t want the nasty things around my food. The monkeys, either.

Agree the animals should be banned but I can’t be too harsh on the ladies because they are both quite doable. Esp the one on the right- damn cute actually.

According to door greeter CBL’s only door greeters and store management can ask about if the animal is a service animal. As a door greeter I have told customers that their “pets” are not allowed inside the store before. That does not stop those that come in the door I am not working from bringing them in.I would have definitely asked to see their monkeys paperwork if it was a service animal. As far as dirty disgusting carts, how would you handle it when the customers leave their un eaten food, and trash in the cart for the next customer to use? We have sanitizer wipes out so they can clean the handles and seat or what ever else they want to clean

To anyone interested in the “service animal” designation:
The US actually updated the ADA in 2010 so that the term “service animal” was more specific (not as broad). Now, according to the ADA (federal law), public access is only granted to service DOGS who can do things such as guiding the blind, alerting the deaf, pulling a wheelchair, picking up objects from the ground to give to their master, alert someone when it is time to take medication (ex. a service dog can smell a chemical change in the body indicating a diabetic experiencing a sugar high/low and alert the diabetic before they go into a diabetic coma, etc).
Furthermore, the work a service dog does must be DIRECTLY related to the specific disability that dog is trained to mitigate. So if I (a complete paraplegic) were to get a service dog, it would need to address needs related to my spinal cord injury, not ONLY be a guide dog. Since I am not blind a guide dog would not be of use to me, but a dog who could help pull my wheelchair, pick up dropped items from the floor, pull clean clothes out of the drier, etc.
A dog who is not used to mitigate the effects of a specific illness or injury would be considered a “pet” or possibly a “therapy dog”. The changes to the ADA in 2010 did not affect the definition of a service animal when it comes to the Fair Housing Act or the Air Carrier Access Act, it only refined the definition in the ADA to be a service DOG instead of service ANIMAL.
Hope that helps to clear up any confusion. In the case of this post, those monkeys would most definitely NOT be covered by the ADA since they are not dogs.

I’d rather deal with these monkeys than with the nappy headed human ones at our Walmart. They walk around smelling like old fish grease, with the waist of their pants down to their knees. They order fried chicken from the deli and walk around the store eating it and then wipe their greasy monkey fingers on the carts and displays. They come in carrying I-Phones and have their nails and hair done but they’re paying for all the food in the cart with food stamps and their bastard children are running around looking like dusty little niglets.

There are service monkeys, but they are IN HOME ONLY. If I saw that thing in ANY store, I would have my phone out and my first call would be to the police, the second would be to the health department, and the third would be to the USDA inspectors. They could shut down Wal-Mart for this.
